  1. I reckon he has been introduced to Shane Warne/Austin Healey over the summer, and they have treated him to this hair loss surgery, they keep promoting in the papers, everyday.
  2. Aye, I think we were but he ended up at Sunderland didn't he?!
  3. 34 I think the commentator said, Maradonna has fallen out with Riquelme too. Remember hearing something about that as well. Boca fans in the ground apparently have a banner saying "Maradonna, playing Legend, Coach, Traitor" or something along those lines, lose this and he's out of a job, IMO.
  4. Out of intrest, how did Hungary look, much of a chance against Portugal on Wednesday?
  5. 34 I think the commentator said, Maradonna has fallen out with Riquelme too.
  6. Trevor Francis was saying exactly the same thing during the half time break of the Paraguay game, he reckons they have had a bust up.
  7. Course not, not playing Coloccini is the reason Maradonna will lose his job, tbh.
  8. "for the chop" is one ive never heard outside of football.
  9. Shocking marking there, think Maradonna will be gone if they lose this.
  10. Well done, he scored a goal, fair play to him................ but hes a Barca player now, not Inter, so you can have an Eto'o love in, instead.
  11. Aye, forgot about Jonas being injured.
  12. Here we go.................Colo and Jonas starting?
  13. Aye, the current crop are gash.
  14. Aye, well you've fucking heard everything.
  15. It would be productive in the long run, I agree there but clubs want success and want it immediatly especially since the ownership of clubs are changing hands all the time and everyone wants to win something, naturally they will buy the best, in any position, available to them, regardless of nationality. Something I have thought about to try and get a new breed of English Keepers through, is for the FA to get some ex keeping greats in at Lilleshall (if the still run it) i.e. Schmeichel(sp?), Seaman, ect to teach these keepers how to handle modern day football and all its expectations. Im sure whoever is the coach down there now (might be Bob Wilson and/or Ray Clemence) might be good coaches, but there is more to the game now than there was, when they were playing. I think the Stella is talking in most of these posts and I may regret posting such shite when I sobre up!!
  16. He probably still does!!
  17. 20 years ago, foreigners were not coming to England to play football, its a different world now, compared to then. If the player is good enough, regardless of position, they will break into the starting XI. The current crop of English Keepers just aint good enough, especially to cope with the demands of playing for England, knowing that if you step a centremeter out of line, your international career is over due to the media looking for a scapegoat in every single game.
  18. Teams are going to go for the best available players in the position, hence Carson, Foster and Hart being loaned out. Reina>Carson Van Der Sar>Foster Given>Hart Why should teams blood English Keepers and potentially lose money on league places ect, to help out the national side?

  20. Of course he has, he's a top pro that one.
