How is that exactly? Didn't really work against Wigan... Shola just kept getting in the way and Martins provided the assist. Martins can easily play as a "big man".
-
Shola ahead of Martins... fucking hell, that is total bullshit. A potentially perfect evening ruined

I thought that too. There was the lua lua 3-2, but i thought this was 3-2 too. I was there - i dont reember 4 "Date: 03-04-1999" being the key info here I guess.
-
Is this game going to be on tv anywhere then?
-
If he does, he'll probably scrape past it. Come off the bench as a 33 year old recalled to the squad and grab a late tap in against Uzbekistan.
-
The picture to the right shows him wheeling away in traditional one arm raised fashion after his goal against Germany in Euro 2000 I think it was. Yeap... the other photo was a few days later after the defeat to Romania, and elimination from Euro 2000 (just for info )

Hehe, nice little piece. Thanks for that.

I'm just so happy to see Zoggy run wild and free. Was always clear all he needed was a run in the team that he had rightly earned after his first season.
-
He's improved a lot in the last year. Becoming much more productive. Yes good enough, and at the moment a definite starter (on the right wing preferably).
-
Only 1-0, but very much a quality display!
-
yeap. At least since last week I think.
-
Surely you can't classify this game as "frustrating" there was release at the end! Big day for Zoggy again.
-
Wigan pretty much had nothing in the second half. Nothing whatsoever.
-
Aye. Only 1-0, but the nature of the game was brilliant. 0-0 would have been a terrible result, no two ways about, no kneejerk about it. Without the win, worthless. We talked about this after the Villa game, a convincing win was needed... we got that today.
-
Legend Oba... getting stuck in keeping the ball in the corner, getting whacked! top man
-
GOT TO HOLD ON!! would be typical to concede from this Wigan team now§
-
Yeap. Good call for the Taylor strike. WAS offside
-
No two ways about it. It's been a long long time since we've dominated a game this much... but all worthless if we don't win.
-
Because there isn't one. Coming from two separate angles.

"Typical Shola twatery for his chance... felt the need to bundle over the wigan player when he was going absolutely nowhere. Luckely the ref didnt give it" Sort yourself out M4TT...it either was a foul or it wasn't, you've claimed it was (because it supports your anti-Shola views) the replays apparently show it not to be a foul at all....you then start back-tracking. Accept that your view of Shola clouded your judgement. fucking hell man... he WAS lucky the ref didnt give it because he clearly put an arm out to the Wigan defender. Not backtracking on that. and it WOULD have been a soft free kick. What the hell?
-
Come on OBA! on to save the day!
-
he did give him a slight nudge him in the back.... would have been a very soft free kick though I agree... but he simply never does himself any favours (because he's an idiot btw).
-
Typical Shola twatery for his chance... felt the need to bundle over the wigan player when he was going absolutely nowhere. Luckely the ref didnt give it, Shola puts it just wide anyway.
