To all Nufc fans, watch how annoying football is. If one of us said something like that at Half Time (!!!) being 2-0 up away from home... you can almost be certain the game would end 3-2 Bet it won't happen here though
-
To think AZ were 3-1 up in Turkey! they'll be kicking themselves.
-
God bless the new sign-up procedure. Good news then.... will be unbearable otherwise. Still time for an AZ comeback... come on!
-
oh dear... doesnt change much for AZ though, one goal still enough to take them through.
-
... right, it's been over half an hour I think he's got away with it. Let's not mention it again.
-
you've got 12 players in that team. Can't have Kezman and Mateja both playing in attack.
-
here comes the wanker brigade, talking repect when his first words are "all english people are going to get fucked in the arse". Idiot. Hope you'll be crying in your kebab tonight Murwinduck.
-
I would have liked Lyon to do well in Italy... but after yesterday's French whinge fest I hope they get tonked.
-
Hoping for more good results for ENglish clubs tonight. Porto already one up against Chelsea though.

that's not an excuse. roeder did what was best for the team, and i don't think the club should veer away from upgrades and depth to spare somebody's feelings. No of course the club shouldnt!!! But that is the reason why Zog has underperformed... because he has had to go in and out of the first team. Pretty simple to me. I'm sure he probably does understand he is part of the grand scheme, and probably does train hard... I have no doubt. Doesn't mean the reasons he's finding hard to be great aren't valid. And anyway, Zog has already been better in overall play this season than Duff has.
-
What the hell are you talking about? You're the one who seems to not have given your opinion much thought or backing by watching the games. Of course he hasn't been as good as last season but the excuses concerning Zog's performances are very VERY justifiable, and you have got to take them into account. Plus when he did have his run in team he DID look promising at the back end of it. You are taking his out of formness completely out of context. But if you want to haul an absolute gem of player into the "lazy forgeigner" basket then so be it I guess.

Total bollocks. He was pretty poor leading up to the Chelsea game, to be fair. Don't agree with Sniffer's stance overall though, Zoggy is a valuable member of the squad and hopefully he'll stay with us for a long time yet and help us achieve something. Yes he hasn't been great, but he has very strong extenuating factors. Him being dropped from the first team to accomodate the new signing being the main issue. But when he did get a run in the side he he got gradually better every game. Leading up to some good displays just before he got injured.
-
I'm actually really crossing my fingers for AZ to finish them off whenever it is... hoping to do some trolling myself
-
Great stuff about Zog! get that cheating Irishman out of the first team
-
True... but there is that risk that we would lose to them even though they are shit Seeing how they've already had a bite at us, I'd settle for the hilarity of them not even making it up to us.
-
I think AZ would be a big threat to us... but I'd still love to see the Turks get knocked out.
-
I'd certainly like Roeder to be a long term part of the coaching staff in one way or another... but I don't really trust his decision making as the main man.
-
quite ... great sig by the way.
-
Making it very annoying to watch.

I get it quite a bit, but not so much on here! The problem being in France is you get a lot of Arsenal fans, and plastic ones of loads the bigger teams... and when I get into a conversation with them about English football it often transpires that I know more about "their" club than they do. Like a conversation I was third wheel in at a party last year about English footie... The bloke was saying how big a fan he was of Liverpool, the other guy asked what big name players do they have, and the first name he came up with was Baros... Didn't have the heart to tell him he had gone to Villa and just walked away really.
-
13. He's done very very well since November-December. Obviously getting some important goals (those two at home against Watford amongst many others) but he's been an essential part of overall play.
-
if that's the only option definitely Yeah. But, what I would have ultimately preferred is for Duff to have stayed on his feet scored himself or tried to pass the ball back for someone else to tap it in.
-
What the hell are you talking about? he was also given grief at each time he made a meal of things. And Duff's last night was worse than he's ever managed. I don't think so. Pretty blatantly. 1. his aston villa thing, was him trying to save his skin, not con the ref to get another player sent off or get a pen -> not worse. Hilarious if anything. 2. Dive v Pompey. Blatant as hell, but rightly didnt get called. -> not worse and he got stick for it on here 3. Lpool tumble: was a penalty -> not worse. But his overreaction annoyed plenty on here and he deservedly got criticised. I rest my case I don't need to list things to prove my point. It's all about opinions. And imo people are coming down on Duff more aggresively than on Taylor. Well they are and I'm not denying that at all. What I'm saying is that they absolutely right to be doing so.
