  1. I think his cowardice sets him apart from other shit players. I can accept that some players aren't very good but the effort and will is there to try and attempt to influence a game. This fucker though, jesus christ, he's petrified and it's become awkward to watch him fail every single time he appears (was going to use 'plays'). Just release the cunt and be done with it ffs. Annoying thing was seeing Routledge leave so we could sign the fucker. Routledge is/was limited but at least he could contribute along the way.

Brutal. I think he's going to get this treatment irrespective of what happens with the allegation now. Football fans will see this situation as an open goal and milk it for all it's worth.
  3. They were in 2000 ah ok, 15 is a canny long time, just ask the Mackems. It's a canny long time like Just not quite long enough.
  4. Bet they regret getting to Wembley when the lose the semi. Should have got knocked out earlier to stop any hopes from being raised, stupid bastards.

This bt in particular is fucking disgusting: GG wanted assurances that the club aims to win every competition that it can. LH added that supporters would prefer to reach Wembley and lose rather than not at all. That view was not shared universally, with some referencing previous "painful" Wembley defeats. Best not to get to Wembley at all. Just not worth getting anyone's hopes up if we lose, far better to get knocked out in embarrassing circumstances in January. Not even pretending any more.

Every time this gets bumped I get butterflies. Just how much money have we made, the excitement is killing me.

I'm assuming that anything extra will be tacked on should he appeal? At the minute it's the same punishment for the same offence.

He looks like the lonely, boring drunk at a shit wedding.

See what you're saying midds but that'd be very dangerous given the favouritism we see towards certain clubs, fuelled by media campaigns. That's not something you or I have got any control over though. You'd be relying on the FA looking at games impartially and applying the same set of sanctions to all clubs without bias. I accept that would be an issue but if the mere threat of points deductions is hanging over them then they would be far less likely to go on the way they do imo. I take your point about the media like, they're manipulative scum.

Pointless? It's a punishment. I suppose what I'm saying is it's a shit form of punishment, in most case anyway. Would you advocate getting rid of suspensions altogether, in favour of (presumably) bigger fines? For the most part aye, I'm not really sure how far I'd go like but it would be a massive reduction from what it is, where we have a ridiculous tier system leading to things like this. I'd keep them for certain things, racism, extreme violence, reckless and dangerous challenges etc. 5 yellow cards and you miss a game type of stuff though definitely needs to go imo. If you're looking to improve the behaviour/conduct of the players on the park then the only punishment that's going to work would be losing points. Your club "can't control it's players"? no problem, lose 3 points. Your captain bites someone? no problem, lose 5 points. Your players have dived 3 times? no problem, lose 2 points. Guarantee that all of the above would stop if the potential punishment hurt the club in the league table. Behaviour and conduct of the players would improve overnight. I think that would be fairer overall to the league if it was implemented properly, aye. As I say my major problem is certain clubs being effected more by the current system than others. Big, rich clubs losing a player for 3 games is neither here nor there. They've got the largest/best squads in the country so banning an individual players for something he's done during a game doesn't hinder the club at all. The simply bring in another international for a couple of weeks. Fining millionaires isn't going to be a deterrent either. Until the FA look at punishing the club in the league via points deductions because of the conduct of it's players then we'll continue to see these arseholes act like cunts week after week after week.

I disagree and I don't see how it's ridiculous. It highlights the stupidity of their decision making which is the point. You think 7 games for spitting is fine, I reckon it's fucking idiotic. That's why it's ridiculous.

The comparison to Terry's ban for racism is ridiculous. One of the bans was way out of proportion and it isn't Cisse's, all of the criticism should be directed at the FA for only banning him for 4 games, that's the joke ban. Cisse can't really complain, it's abhorrent.

As long as Evans gets just the same I'm not that arsed. I understand that gobbing on someone isn't going to do any physical harm but it can't really be compared to a bad tackle, it's a repugnant act regardless of context and he was always going to be made an example of. They had to go way ott because they can't afford to see spitting creeping into their cash-cow league. If Evans gets away with it though....

The pair of them are fucking disgusting. It's a disgraceful thing to do and they both deserve a ban. Can't just pretend it didn't happen or he should get away with it because he happens to play for your team, it was what it was - fucking disgusting and they were both in the wrong.
  16. Just continue to find new ways of conceding/losing. It's beyond embarrassing. It's toe-curling now like.
  17. Still struggling to see anything that Sammy offers. Careless and sloppy game after game, just gives you nowt 95% of the time.
  18. Got 1-0, late Rooney winner written all over it this.

I cannot think of a worse way to manage a group of human beings tbh. Carver needs to get that shirt tattooed on his chest tbh. You're training with Colback and Obertan and this ugly freak makes you wear this monstrosity despite being several divisions better than than the utter cunts around you taking the piss.

Willing to bet he doesn't give a single fuck as long as we're not in grave danger of going down. Just stay up, that's the remit, just stay exactly where we are and he'll be cush.
  21. Problem being they're playing Arsenal.
