  1. Hope they're ready for the inevitable TripAdvisor pile-on they've just triggered
  2. From wiki: Al-Khelaïfi was honored by ESPN as the seventh most influential individual in the realm of world football in 2015. His influence was further solidified in May 2020 when a France Football ranking positioned him as the most influential personality in the sport. Draw your own conclusions
  3. It's the only doctor that needs a transit van for his patient's medical notes
  4. Unless it's ridiculous money then his worth to us is far more than the £12m(?? or whatever) we'd get for him. Brilliant professional, still top notch RB and his experience on the park is intangible. He had a rough couple of months and was making some shocking mistakes in the Autumn but he seemed to play himself back into form. He's still fit as a fiddle and needs to be kept at most costs
  5. So you can transfer a £76m building/asset from one part of the company but you can't transfer £76m cash from one part of the company to another? Complete layman here but that doesn't seem to make any sense at all
  6. Time for Keano He's just the bloke you need in these situations
  7. This is when I like Carragher. Just analysing footage and explaining systems. No bullshit, no gimmicks, no bantz - just pulling clips up to explain how teams got the results they did. Wish he did more of this and less of his shite
  8. Should be well rested for this one and it would be amazing to have more than 1 or 2 good options on the bench to change thing if needed. Definitely got a 1-2 feel about it, not going to be easy but I think we'll edge it. Palace looked pretty handy today, well organised and broke with pace and intelligence, they've also got a few players who could do damage
  9. Neeeeeeed this Arteta reaction soon
  10. Chelsea dropping 2 tomorrow night would be even better
  11. Completely glossed over all of the other times Palace carved them open and should have had another 2 or 3 too. Already rewriting history as just 'one of those days', ignoring all of the brilliant saves, blocks and defending. Liverpool simply didn't deserve to win that today, they weren't unlucky they were shit, it happens, even to that lot
  12. Falling behind regularly and pulling things back to win just isn't sustainable over such a long period of time, they were always going to regress to the mean at some point. They look like a team that has hit the wall, thumped in Europe on Thursday and now effectively out of the title race. They looked disheartened, they looked beaten, they looked resigned to their fate. It was majestic
  13. Redknapp sounds like someone who's just seen his granny run over
  14. This isn't just a loss for Liverpool, it's a loss for football
  15. It's the Liverpool fans I feel sorry for, they're the real victims today
  16. It's a good point I just like a bit of shithousing tbh
  17. Wholeheartedly agree. Given even moderate luck with injuries and suspensions we'd be at least 8-10 points better off. But you have to play the hand you're dealt and these things happen. We've struggled a lot at times but no reason we can't make a decent fist of the last 6 games - 14 points would be amazing
  18. Contrast that to Eddie earlier... Clear to see which teams have the pressure heaped on their shoulders when it gets down to brass tacks. Cracks will form and they'll transmit onto the players soon enough, happens year after year. Classic example is Keegan ironically

    St James' Park

    How bad is Minnesota like?
  20. It'll be nice to see him be able to play for the rest of the season with his normal edge. He's been brilliant to avoid the booking but I think his game has suffered a little as a result of him being on his best behaviour. He's always going to play on the limits of things given his position but he gets an extra 10% when he can push things a bit. This works in our favour massively as we still have 4 aways to play

    Dogawful Officiating

Hope Bournemouth are looking forward to their token apology on Monday afternoon. Sure they'll feel much better about things
  22. Bailed out yet again. Keeps on happening week after week after week, it's absurd man
