    La Liga - 10/11

Men against boys. Can barely remember Valdes touching the ball.

    La Liga - 10/11

Now rub their fucking noses in it.
  3. poh! all you've done is made a coherent statement out of my earlier rant. Didn't see it. Great minds though.
  4. Makes the players who do it look like complete pricks but if the refs are too weak to let it pass then why shouldn't they? Refs are human and if players can influence them, drip by drip, by asking for cards then I can understand why they do it. Got far more of an issue with the refs who allow it rather than the players who do it tbh.

    Alan Pardew

Don't think for a second that Pardew particularly wanted to play Coloccini in the middle of the park but he decide that it was the 'least shit' option given the players he had available. Coloccini is a good player and is more than capable of doing a decent job in there but it didn't work out. Can't be slagged for that surely?
  6. He's not our player any more. Have found it surprisingly easy to disassociate him from us. Far more concerned with who we're going to replace him with this summer....

    Nile Ranger

Badly needs regular football to develop him and keep him occupied. Send the little shit to Hartlepool or Rochdale for a season.

    José Mourinho

Never fails to surprise me when he acts like a cunt that his behaviour is suddenly interpreted as 'mind games'. It's not mind games or anything like it - he's simply a cunt. Good manager like, but a cunt all the same.
  9. Supply and demand. If the demand is there then why shouldn't they take the piss - people will buy 'em. Totally prices out the kids unless mam and dad are rich enough to pay for them, which being in the location it is, they invariably are. The new rules regarding clubs only spending what they earn are about to kick in so teams like Chelsea need to maximise the income. Hiking the ticket prices up was always going to happen. They won't be the last club to do it either....
  10. God, I'm glad we got promoted straight away. We'd already been promoted by this time last year btw.
  11. Milan were a machine. Perfect blend of youth/experience and discipline/flair. Best 'team' I've seen but this Barca team play better football for the neutral.
  12. They were flogging them in Denmark when I was over there during the World Cup, was tempted but its just too red and white to wear. Scandanavian mackems.
  13. Go along with that. Milan were better defensively but Barca are awesome going forward. Would have been a superb match. Aye. Would have been class to see Maldini, Baresi, Costacurta and Tassotti up against Barcelona's attacking finesse. I think Milan would have stifled them like Inter did this time last year but I'm not sure. Would have fancied Van Basten/Gullit to notch too.

  15. He had a great relationship with Newcastle fans Loved him fighting with Gary Bennett at Joker Park and ending up in the crowd....I went with my mate for an evening's Mackem bashing and almost ended up with Speedie on my lap.A very under rated player too.imo. Went with a couple of (mackem) mates from school (only about 12 at the time) and was about 10 yards from said incident.
  16. Always liked the Denmark one from '86. http://www.whoateallthepies.tv/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/Denmark-86-Home.jpg
  17. Would he have been a better option on the right compared to Simpson, Lovenkrands or Ryan Taylor? No-one is disputing he's limited/not PL class but I refuse to believe he'd have been worse than those 3 who've all had a go there since Routledge left.
  18. Do you actually watch football? Not defending Gomes now because dear me that was a rookie mistake. But saying he's an awful keeper when he kept them in the tie against Milan and he has been the best player on the pitch several times. He's the most inconsistent keeper ever. He's like a rollercoaster, but calling him awful is harsh. A keeper always liable to make a mistake leading to a goal is awful. He's done it 4 times in the last 5 games. Exactly. If a goalkeeper makes so many mistakes as regularly as he does then he con't be classed as a good keeper. Good keepers are consistently good but this bloke's costing goals left, right and centre. Felipao's so blinkered when it comes to Brazilian players. But basically your telling me that Julio Cesar who was probably the best goalkeeper last season is an awful goalkeeper after his blunders against Bayern and Brazil in the world cup? Are you guys for real? This really has nothing to do with Gomes being Brazilian, but has to do with the fact that he's really not an awful goalkeeper. He won them the tie against Milan basically with some magical saves. And then when he f***s up he's an awful goalkeeper? Not saying he's the best goalkeeper around, but theres a reason behind why he starts for a team placed 5th in the Premier League and went out in the quarters of the Champions League, especially since the managers name isnt Arsene Wenger. I'm saying that if he's making mistakes regularly which is costing his team goals and games then he's an awful keeper. You've brought other keepers into it but I'm talking about Gomes. He's s*** in my opinion. He's s*** because he makes lots and lots of mistakes. He's got talent and has good games but the sheer volume of his mistakes undoes all of the good. He's got talent and good games but he's awful. Alright I get it. hater I've said that I think he's shit and I've explained why. If you don't agree then fair enough. I can't help you any more - take the Brazilian shades off mate.

  21. Awful keeper. Spurs have got some cracking players but he's a liability.
  22. "Over he 2 legs they were probably the better team" G. Bale Get it on his fucking tombstone. Fuck me.
  23. The World Cup Final is still the pinnacle imo. Always will be. It's the biggest stage, the biggest showcase and the tournament that defines the sport and the people who play it. If one player can lead/inspire his team-mates to win it despite being an inferior 'team' then he'll go down as a legend. Don't get me wrong, Messi is the most talented footballer on the planet at the minute and he's awesome. But to reach the elite of the sport he needs to produce it in the World Cup.
