Always try to judge signings from both sides of things. Had Sunderland signed him I'd be ripping the shit out of them. Can't pretend otherwise, he's looked a poor player. Obviously I hope he improves and does well but i'll not hold my breath. We'll see.
-
Asked a Man U supporting mate what he's like: "Imagine errr say the French version of a poor mans Andy Sinton on a very bad day, I'm so sorry." Get. In.
-
RMC reckon 3-4m euros. Christ. Never mind, at least the 'I told you we'd sign someone else before the window closed' crew can say they were right.
-
Any mention of a fee yet?
-
Not going to lie, he's looked poor every time I've seen him.

Sarcasm is the lowest form of wit. Correct. You're sooo clever.
-
I was being sarcastic. Never mind.

And they have. All that was then required was for the player to present himself to the embassy and the Ivorians to do their shit that end. /No doubt Mike was adverse to paying the inevitable bribes mind. //I still have nightmares about getting out of a country by wrangling a dodgy tourist Visa, fucked if I'm going back there. So why does this only happen to us? What are other clubs doing that we aren't to avoid this? No idea about other clubs, but then I certainly doubt many, if any, suporters of other clubs know about Tiotes case. It's not in the national press is it? I bet Wenger knows. And Bruce for that matter. So that's a no then, it more than likely isn't just us. You're asking me to answer that question for every other football fan? The managers of the opposition who we play imminently will know. Nice edit.

Presumably Yaya Toure went through the same process. Both Ivorians signed last summer after all.... Maybe they're playing keepy-uppy together?

Stil don't see how you can say this when we have no idea when an application went in, or even if it could go in before Tiote presented himself at the embassy. You think this was planned like this by the club? To have our best midfielder training by himself, missing pre-season games while this is getting sorted? It's an admin fuck up. The club should have realised months ago that they had to renew his visa but did nothing about it until he tried to fly back into the country from the US. Its a shambles. He didn't try to fly back into the country though. The plan from the start was for him to fly direct to Ghana post the preseason tour. Why not do it over the summer then? Why fuck up his pre-season preparations to deal with this shit? Doesn't add up.
-
I'd expect 99% of clubs to sort paperwork like this out for the player. It's not like he applied for the job of DM after sending a cv into Llambias. We wanted him so we should have done everything necessary. The club fucked up.

Makes you wonder why he application didn't go in earlier..... Nothing to do with the club though obviously. Perish the thought. Not us boss.... Pricks.
-
So the bit of paper that allows him to play for us has nothing to do with the football club? It's fucking lies man. I'd prefer it if he just said nothing.

Tough tie for the Arsenal that.

From a purely personal point of view, if the thread starter wants the thread in the bin then his wishes should be respected and it should stay there. That applies to any thread started, then deleted, by the OP. No-one came out of that thread with much credit in the end and it's where it should be imo.

Nothing's ever forgotten Tron, it's just human nature.

He knew exactly what he was getting involved in. He should have used the month prior to Hughton's sacking to do a bit of research on the cunts he'd already agreed to work for. No sympathy here.
-
I don't think he's had any such conversations with them. It's just a bullshit line to throw the fans.

Got a link? Oh, you've edited it.
