  1. Looked like a yellow at the time but I can see why the ref sent him off. Going in studs up like that is always giving the ref a decision to make. Not too much contact made but that's down to luck/timing more than Pepe being in control of the tackle. Could quite easily have caused a nasty injury.
  2. Season long loan with an option to buy would be the best bet. As mental as this fucker undoubtedly is, he's still got way more talent than Smith, Guthrie and R. Taylor. Giving him the benefit of the doubt regarding injuries since January, natch. Wouldn't think about buying him without seeing him play well regularly though.
  3. Once again, Barca get the cane out of the cupboard and give filthy Madrid a damn good thrashing. Good to see.
  4. Ref will even this one up at the first chance he gets.
  5. i spent most of it looking for a pressure washer online Nilfisk is supposed to be a good brand. If you find one (of any make), search it on detailingworld.co.uk to see what the car washing nerds make of it. Better than Karcher? Apologies for the hijack but we're after one too. Supposedly yeah, on the cheaper/offer models anyway. All depends on the quality of components etc. You want one with a metal pump and good seals. Cheers folks. I'll see what's on offer atm. Seeya Pepe!

  8. Well that's another 45 minutes of football that Real have killed. Zero ambition. Mourinho will be well chuffed with that 'performance'. Some of the stuff from Busquets has been embarrassing though.
  9. Wonder what his lass looks like? Frau Klunge.
  10. Valencia coming back into the team has given them that little bit extra. The way Ferguson rotates things and switches things around is superb.
  11. I can only assume that the occasion has go to Schalke a bit here. Proper 'rabbits caught in the headlights' stuff from them tonight.

  13. A lot of the more offensive chants are sang purely to get a reaction from the opposition fans imo. Take the individuals involved to one side and ask them if they would taunt people like that privately and I'm pretty sure they wouldn't. Pack mentality where, pretty much, anything goes.

    Arsene Wenger

So in essence, wengers current team are a bit like a prison rapist with no chiv....he can pen one of his fellow male prisoners in a corner but cant ....i'll get me coat Fuck them. Aye.

Summary: They pen the opposition in rather than penetrate/hurt them.

    Arsene Wenger

Needs to bite the bullet and buy the finished article instead of rough diamonds. Still think he'll walk though.
  17. think he'll do a keegan first. big splurge, realise it hasn't worked then go. Not sure if a) the cash is there and b) whether it would go against his principles to just spaff £60m on ready-made players rather than 'develop' them. pretty sure the cash is there and it's the going against his principles that will see him off, he'll end up doing it because he's made no progress over the last two or three years. I'd go along with that. The cash should be there but it's his reluctance to spend it that is baffling. The glaring gaps in the squad have been there for years as you say. It just doesn't add up. Why not just pay the money?

  19. Having seen Wenger go more and more round the bend over the last month I wouldn't be at all surprised if he walks away from Arsenal this summer. He looks like he's just about had enough imo. Don't think he'll get sacked but he's looking more and more frustrated every time I see him.
  20. Seen that coming Not being arsey but they've, technically, got different jobs.
  21. Because Hodgson is the head coach and Redknapp is the manager.
