I'd be astonished if there wasn't any bother. Never seen as many arseholes looking for bother before a game. Toon was jammed with cunts of every type including and inordinate number of Barbour jackets and hair gel.

Got absolutely everything right today. Faultless.

It'll take a few days for me to take in and for me to be able to comment sensibly about it today. I've never experienced anything like this in all my days of being a football fan. To be 5-0 up against the team you want to beat the most and watch us pass it round against their 10 men is just the thing that dreams are made of. I have no words. Yet. Just unbelievable.
-
Don't have words atm. Let me get back behind a keyboard and digest it and i'll be right back. Unbelievable.
-
Oh good, can't beat a smashing card display.
-
Do you do ceilings?

Could well happen with Cautious Chris. I'd start with 2 up top but he might decide to play Nolan behind Carroll and match them in the middle of the park. Horses for courses.

Aye, the nerves have gone for me too, just looking forward to the game and the occasion now. Just got to hope the lads fight all the way and don't let us down. It's out of our hands now and there's no point in worrying or panicking.

The ref gave the advantage to Gomes to keep the game flowing and Spurs were in a good position to get a quick break on which was the right decision. I'd expect every ref to ask the keeper simply to play on and keep the game going without a free-kick being taken. Gomes then fucks up by dropping the ball in front of him and appearing to take a free-kick, he should have just got rid of it. The ref fucks up by just allowing it to happen an not bringing it back once Nani puts it in the net. Common sense says that it shouldn't, in the spirit of the game, be allowed to stand. He then has another chance to speak to his linesman to get it right and fails to get it right again. Both Clattenburg and Gomes are at fault. I can see why it was allowed but it's not the right way to go about things.

The table is still tight enough so that if they do get their act together and win a few on the bounce they'll be looking at consolidating and making a go at 6th and the play-offs. Easier said than done though obviously.
-
Yep. With 5 minutes to go and chasing the game he should be getting rid of that ball asap. If he'd slung it out there was a break on, never mind waiting and rolling it out in front of him. Was a very poor decision from Clattenburg but I can see why it was given.
-
I can see both sides of it. It's a definite handball but if Gomes has picked it up then play should just continue and you play to the whistle. That said it's a bit fucking snidey of Nani to just roll it in after Gomes drops it down. The lino has to be stronger though.

He writes for his audience. [/controversial]

The nerves will have gone by this time tomorrow. I'll have my match head on and I'll be waiting to see the teams and how we're going to line up. Looking forward to it actually.

With a generic hotmail address? Nah.

A new account has just been asked for approval. Uncanny.

Thanks for that.

Not read anything as cringeworthy since James tried to shoehorn 'Buffalo Soldier' into a song about Jose Enrique.

Always interesting to see how the regulars react when a couple of new faces suddenly arrive for derby day. The looks they get are fantastic.

Would be terrible if you got a nasty bout of food poisoning the night before your shift though...
