Only a desperately poor game of football surprisingly!!
-
Utter wank. It's like watching Gillingham v Blackburn in a FA Cup 3rd round tie.
-
What would happen if someone pumped a million into the club? Would they get 200 votes?
-
If he serves 6 matches, the following game is Sunderland (A)

They've paid to get in. Walking out early wouldn't achieve anything. What would the reaction be if we were leading at the point of the mass exit and went on to lose the game? worded that wrong. its the first 10mins or even first half. then everyone piles in 2nd half. half time banner unfurled to show our disgust. owners come and go... (huge banner with keegan)...heroes last forever Coming into the ground late is as bad as leaving it early. What if we were 0-3 down at HT? Any significant banner wouldn't be allowed through the gates. Doing something constructive isn't going to be easy... If hidden in a big however.... they rarely check bags, i should know. If you want to try to smuggle it in then that's up to you. Still can't see what good it will do though.

To be honest, this time, I think the majority of the country are on our and Keegan's side, and see that he has in reality been pushed to it. I think everyone, fans and outsiders alike, knew what the set-up was for months though. If he really is doing this out of principle, he should have done it months ago. I think Keegan was going places with that squad this season, and Milner out for Xisco & Gonzalez wouldn't have affected that too much. There's managers in the lower leagues, out of jobs, etc. who'd do give anything to have an £8m Spanish Under-21 international handed on a plate to them on deadline day, and yet Keegan's walked away from it again. Shame. I still think something has happened on Sunday/Monday with regards to trying to sell players behind his back. That coupled with the Milner thing will have pushed him over the edge. I honestly don't think Keegan had a problem with the setup until his little rant after the Chelsea game. They had their meeting, sorted the differences, but on a number of occasions throughout the summer the problems have resurfaced until KK decided it was time to go. I agree with you 100%. I think there was something that happened...but it happened. Keegan could have easily stayed, and done things in private behind the scenes, and cleared the air before January's window. He could have even walked out in a week or so if he was that p*ssed off. But to do what seems to be a runner the morning after the transfer window closed, is hardly enough time to iron out any differences, and I think it was very rash. It's difficult to say without knowing the details. What is obvious though, is that Keegan is right to stick to his principles. He couldn't have chosen a worse time to find his principles. He's made the right decision at the worst possible time for the club.

Singing Keegan Wonderland wouldn't do any harm at all and might lift the players at the same time. Anything that helps to get a result would benefit the club. Chanting anything positive is better than booing Ashley, Wise or the poor bastard who'll be in charge of the team. I just want what's best for the club and 3 points is far more valuable than a million 'Ashley Out' banners. We can make our feelings known before or after the game but while the lads are out there, I'll be behind them and I hope we fucking batter Hull.

This is the thing I fear most. The shit that Ashley is, and is going to continue, to get might just persuade him to sell any decent player we have for whatever he can and claw back as much of his outlay in the process. We replace them with shit and drop down the league. He then sells the club to whoever wants it for half of what he paid and walks away maybe £25m down. We get relegated the next season. It doesn't bear thinking about but who's going to stop him? He runs the whole show. Pissing him off may not be such a good idea. *prays someone comes along and says he can't legally do any of the above*
-
It's in his best interests to wait until the summer and leave on a free. No transfer fee will obviously mean the buying club can afford to pay him a bit more than they normally would have. That said, I don't think he's struggling financially and if he's had enough of the soap opera up here then he might well go in January, albeit taking a bit less home every week. Capello (not) picking him for England will play a big role too. We'll end up with the shitty end of the stick regardless but the whole situation should have been resolved one way or the other a long time ago.
-
Selling him wasn't a mistake. Not replacing him was. And Keegan going half a season with Kitson as striker in 94-5 was a mistake baring in mind it cost us Europe that season. We signed his replacement later on and was a success. Could have easily done the same here again in January. Point taken but I think we had enough time to bring someone else in before the window shut. No point buying for the sake of it and we have cover but another body would be handy when injuries and suspensions kick in around October and November.

Yes but how long do we wait at the ground for? there has to be and end point, a message of some sorts handed over to the club once we get to the ground. Arrive at the ground at Kick Off time. Outside the main reception, sing Pro Keegan songs. 15mins into the game head off to our seats. Continue our support in the ground. Stand Up If You Love Keegan after 40mins...for 5/10minutes. He's not coming back. He resigned and no amount of songs of banners will change that. Not being arsey, I just don't see the point. It's not about getting him back though as we all know that's the question. It's more so our voices can be seen and heard by the masses against a regime that has showed such blatant disrespect and disregard to a man who for me is the reason why I'm so proud to be a Newcastle United fan, a figurehead of my club, for people like Ashley etc who know nothing about football and could let this happen to a man who is so honest, has such integrity, who brought passion back to the game again for a lot of us, it is an absolute disgrace that they've let this happen. I would agree with that but surely KK (and the rest of the country?) know how much NUFC fans idolise him. He has been treated like shit but singing his name won't achieve anything. I highly doubt Ashley, Wise et al will even be at the game tbh. At the end of the day Ashley owns the club lock stock and he can do whatever he wants with it. We have absolutely no say at all in how he runs it. We can whinge and twist as much as we want and it won't change a damn thing. All I know is this: NUFC will still be around long after Ashley has fucked off. I want what's best for the club but due to circumstances beyond our control, KK won't be involved.

We have no interest what so ever in this being publicised as somethign we sorted. We are merely suggesting that people channel their ideas and we all work together. For once, can we just work together, without any synical views on what we are trying to achieve. let's be UNITED and work together...please. I'm all for being united but I'd rather do something positive than negative tbh. Likewise. That's why I am still uncertain about my own personal actions. I composed the e-mail just to help the other lads get the ball rolling, as I back their opinions without totally agreeing with them. I'm just trying to help all those with a different opinion to make it heard. At the same time I want a march to be totally legal and organised properly. Because no-one should get a ticking off about this like some did about United We Stand. Well I hope whatever you choose to do benefits NUFC.

Depends if he's signed a confidentiality agreement. If he loves the club like he says, then he won't have done. He owes it to us to let us know what's made him resign. Yep. After a summer of rumours I'd like him to come out publically and say exactly what forced him to resign. Just a bit of honesty really. It's not too much to ask is it?
-
A meeting may not be necessary, but we neeed to get these ideas channeled, collectively... What do you hope to achieve? What would be the best outcome of the meeting in your opinion?
-
I can understand the aner and frustration but this won't benefit the club in any shape or form. If Ashley sells up to the first reasonable bid then fuck knows where the club will end up. Time to regroup and get behind the club. The club should always come first.

Superbly put indi. That's exactly what I was trying to get at.
