    Hull...Protest?

I've already suggested that heza (or a mod) reset the poll in a few days when there are more options. Also need to include an option to vote for 3 or 4 of the suggestions if need be.
  2. Not just a pretty face.
  3. A man buys 3 fish and 2 chips for £2.80 A woman buys 1 fish and 4 chips for £2.60 How much are the fish and how much are the chips?

A Mod'/Admin' may have to add these options to the poll...... Can you not add them? I'll add whatever (sensible) options you want if need be. Aye, I just hadn't realised how to mate...cheers. I'd suggest you wait til about Tuesday to gauge the options that are viable then reset the poll and let people vote for maybe 2 or 3 of the options you have. Then take it fro there. Aye, it sounds a good idea. Not sure when to end the poll tbh? We need to give ourselves enough time to conatct nufc.com and other groups alike with what was most popular on here. Just to get the word out etc..... Think or yourself. Don't wait for .com to tell you what to do. They'll say what they think and suggest something but that doesn't mean you've got to fall into line and ollow suit. Get your ideas up there, find out which ones are popular and take it from there.

If you voted other could you say what you intend to do so Heza can them add them to the poll. Personally I'm not really in favour of any form of protest that will affect the players and therefore the result of the game but people have a right to do whatever they want as long as it's not illegal. If thousands of fans want to protest then it's going to look a bit silly if they're all doing something different. If they want to force change then they're going to have to get themselves organised and this thread/poll is a good idea. The only thing I'd be wary of is relying on people actually doing what they say they're prepared to do. It's no good people saying they're going to go in after 20 minutes then going in as per normal, for the sake of argument.
  9. The club obviously changed direction when Chris Mort left. Or he was the glue that held everything together? It's been said a few times already but it's no coincidence that things have gone tits up since he left. having all these different roles and levels of hierarchy it would need a calm head to mediate and faciliate the process. can you imagine Mort putting out pathetic statements like the one last night? Which, by all accounts, he was and did. I actually had to check for a minute or two to make sure it wasn't a shit wind-up. I clicked the link but thought it was a fake so I went on to co.uk and found it myself just to be sure. :-[

  11. I think all of the players in bold (apart from Harper, natch) will leave the club next summer. Some because they're not wanted, not good enough or don't want to be here. Whoever comes in is going to have a hell of a job on his hands. :-[
  12. You can almost smell the panic in Parky's typing there, as he desperately claws at the precipice, trying to regain a foothold on footballing reality. Shame you forgot your mountain boots, Parky. His point is still perfectly valid though. What Newcastle achieved from 92 to 96 will never happen again. We made up so much ground in such a short time and we can't possibly be compared to Arsenal who, i think, have only finished outside of the top 8 of the top division once in the last 35 years. Something like that anyway.
  13. Seems a long time ago since we whacked a club record bid in for Modric. What the fuck has happened?
  14. My only sensible thought at the minute is the fact Ashley has no incentive to run the club into the ground. I think he's a ruthless bastard and he'll want to recoup as much of his initial outlay as he can. He's obviously a canny businessman because he's made himself a billionaire so he knows how to run successful operations - I sincerely hope he uses these skills to maximise the price when he sells it on. In this respect I've got a small amount of confidence in him to see this through. But his motives are purely selfish. He won't be doing it or the good of the club, he'll do it to protect his interests.
  15. if the quotes in the Sun are true, Keegan will have no option but to fight this, otherwise he'll owe the club £2m. shocking tbh. Absolutely. Both sides are calling the other liars. The statements tonight are just the opening shots. I think the club have shown themselves to be liars without the need for anyone to point it out by releasing a statement that completely contradicts what as individuals they've told the press and the official club magazine. That's a good point but I think people will point to the fact Keegan not complaining implies it either wasn't happening or, if it was, he was ok with it because he kept schtum.

  17. This is going to end up in court. Each side is saying the other broke the contract and are digging their heels in. And the only loser will be the club. Dragged through the fucking dirt yet again.

    Fucking hell man.
  19. bevan was in on these talks apparently him keegan vs lameass wise veterre and another Was he representing Keegan? yip and he will by the lma in the tribunal which will probably never happen, settle out of court then the confidential shit kicks in I didn't realise he was actually involved in the meetings. I thought he was just giving his opinion.

  21. Keegan might not be able to state his side of the story but I'm sure I heard Bevan of the LMA having his say a couple of days ago. Something about conductors of orchestras. Where did he get that from?
  22. And they've released it just in time for the editors of the Sunday rags to cobble together a new headline for tomorrow morning.
  23. This situation will get much worse before it gets better. Someone is clearly lying and I fear we'll air our dirty laundry in public. Again. What a fucking shambles.

Are you 100% sure we were trying to sell Owen? Base your judgement on what you know not hearsay. Oh come on, if it wasn't true the club would've denied any of that a long time ago. "But if the club thought Owen wasn't going to sign a new contract" You knew that? You must eb well connected. I'd say the people running the club and offering contracts are more connected than us. If they thought Owen wasn't going to sign a new contract even after being offered a pay rise then i don't blame them for trying to move him on. Him and the rest of the team. Do you honestly believe that they tried to sell every single member of the squad? Or perhaps they made it clear that every player had a certain value on his head that would have been too good to turn down... Unfortunately, we don't have anyone that is good enough to be classed as irreplaceable or un-sellable. 99.999% of players in world football would be sold if the right bid comes in for them.
