this Give me one good reason for NUFC not wanting to tie up this deal and have him available for the game. your post bears no relevance to the 2 you've quoted You're criticising the running of the club. I'm saying it isn't totally their fault and they want the deal done asap. You want people sacked for not getting the deal done ffs. you said give me a reason for NUFC not wanting the deal concluded, neither of us mentioned desire as a factor as chicago says the deal was announced weeks ago, if he's not eligible to play sunday someone needs sacking..."want" has nothing to do with it Even if it's not our fault? Has it occurred to you that a the time we signed him and announced it, we believed the player's documentation was in transit too? The problems may have happened after we confirmed it. You can't rewind time. I'm just saying that I think the club is doing everything it can to get the documents and they're as pissed off about it all as you, I and all of us are. If another party, the Spanish FA, is holding the deal up, it's not our fault. Jesus f***ing wept. i'll reply in 2 ways before kip; 1. it's a good point, something unexpected happened after they announced the signing yet they chose not to announce said impediment 2. we employ people on crazy wages, embarrassing wages really, to ensure this s*** does not happen have you seen it at another club? me either? thus someones not earning their money, fucken sack em Using the 'Webster rule' to sign a player isn't exactly a run-of-the-mill transfer. It's unusual and clubs are still trying to get their heads around the new legislation atm. I'm not exonerating the club totally however, and I hope they learn from their mistakes. I'm suggesting the problems with the missing registration surfaced after we'd signed him and the Spanish FA are backing their team and holding fire for the time being. I don't believe for a second that NUFC don't want this sorted asap and want to play Gutierrez as much and as soon as possible and are doing everything they can to get it resolved. PS. I bet the same twats who are complaining about us announcing the Jonas signing early are the very same twats who are complaining about Coloccini not being confirmed on the website. Maybe, just f***ing maybe, Ashley is a bit embarrassed by the Guti deal being held up and is holding fire on going public about the Colo deal. Just a thought. Sleep tight, tiger. x You are really a complete dick head, I'm sorry, but you've just called about 90% of the forum a bunch of twats. Because about 90% of us have complained, and rightly so, that we've still seen no official announcement on Colocinni. Is it so much to ask for a little communication from the club ? Obviously in your little world asking for that makes you a t***. Couldn't give a shit tbh.

What an absolute tit.

so it's him that's been delaying the transfer then? eh? how did you get that from my post. If i had said WE finalise THE transfer, would that be better? What i was reffering to was: "Gutierrez's compatriot Fabricio Coloccini did not train yesterday but at least his Premier League registration is expected through before tomorrow, meaning the £9.1m defender from Deportivo La Coruña should be in line for a debut." as well as: "There was still be no announcement from the club regarding the £10m signing of Fabricio Coloccini from Deportivo La Coruna, even though the Argentinian central defender has been on Tyneside for nearly a week and has been training with the club. However, United tell me that there could be news on Coloccini in the next 24 hours" Just saying something could happen in the next 24 hours but that's been said before. well you said coloccini was finalising his own transfer Belter! Can I sign for Newcastle too? I've seen you play.......can't you sign for Sunderland please Midds?

If they'd offered £9m a month ago then I'd have taken it. If we sell now though, it's not leaving too much time to replace him. If they've got something lined up then £9m is too good to turn down.

If another party, the Spanish FA, is holding the deal up, it's not our fault. Jesus f***ing wept. They confirmed it a month and a half ago. They have had a lot of time to resolve this problem, and they haven't. Whether they wanted to or tried very hard doesn't matter. When you make only 2 first team signings, you expect them to play. So yes, I am criticizing the way the club is being run. I honestly didn't expect to be looking at the same team on August 16 that lost 0-6 minus Stephen Carr, plus Bolton's Danny Guthrie. I've already said i think it's out of their hands and the delay is at the Spanish end of the deal. In hindsight they probably shouldn't have announced the transfer as quickly as they did but I'm prepared to look at things and give them the benefit of the doubt. We want him available and I'm not blaming them for the delay. Yes it should have been sorted earlier but what are we going to do if the Spanish FA dig their heels in?

If the reports are to be believed then the Spanish FA are not passing over his registration because Mallorca are still fucked off. Not really an awful lot we can do about that other than to get it resolved via UEFA or FIFA if need be. Agree that it should have been sorted by now by it's not necessarily NUFC to blame.

For shoplifting no doubt. Looks a wrong'un.

Huddersfield at home.

38 and he'd still be more of a threat upfront than Smith.
-
Spot on. We generally lose this fixture anyway so I've already written it off seeing as we're seemingly short of most of our quality players. Take the punch and move on.
-
The scousers are on ITV at 8 I think. Wycombe v Brum on SS2
