I like the derby matches myself. I've said this before, but the best scenario for the mackems in my view would be for them to be in the PL so that we get the tension of the derby games. I'd like them to make a couple of signings every summer to get them excited and to think they're going places, only for reality to kick in during the first month of the season that it's another struggle. I'd like them to survive every season by virtue of a single goal or something, so that they spend the entire season watching shite and in fear of the drop. Fair enough, they'd be relieved at avoiding it in the end, but then for every season to be the same, season after season of struggle but we still get to beat them in the derby games. Fair enough. I'd prefer it if they went out of business tbh. Unfortunately, I've got to live amongst the filthy fuckers and I'm pretty sure that if you were surrounded by the smelly shitheads you wouldn't want them to be Premier League either. The derby is great and all that but 100 derby wins wouldn't come close to seeing an accountant hammer the final nail in their coffin and sent them into liquidation. Pure scum. Let the cunts rot.

It's fucking rediculous. Last season we at least gave Man Utd, Chelsea, Liverpool, Spurs, and Newcastle(away and 1st half of home game) a game. Yet they have failed to manage this against Coventry, Birmingham, Plymouth and Southend. It's frightening that we have WBA as our next league game, meaning a whole month without a point at this clubs natural level. All of the performances have been woeful. What hurts the most is that the players obviously don't care anymore, and bottle challenges all the time. I thought it couldn't get worse after the 19 point season, I was wrong, I didn't think it could get any worse after a 15 point season, but it really has. I honestly believe we could get beat by the team bottom of the whole football league (Bury) in the week, the way the players are currently playing. I can imagine how funny it is from an outside view, especially from a Newcastle/Boro fans point of view, but when you are there actually watching the shit on the pitch claiming to be professional footballers, it really hurts, especially as thereis in effect very little that you can do but sit thereand watch the worst team I've ever seen just woefully surrender to teams that were about 7 years ago in the lowest league/in non-league. That is fucking music to my ears. I hate the mackems more than anything on the fucking galaxy. I wish every piece of bad luck and ill fortune upon them. Pure scum. Hope the cunts suffer for eternity. To be perfectly fair - you've either missed my point or ignored it. Were you part of the board of directors during the 60's, 70's and 80's?? If, as I suspect, you weren't - how do you know so much about the reasons why they came to the decisions they eventually did? Did you read about them in the newspaper? the point, is to point out to those who whinge on about wanting to be like Liverpool, we have been striving to match Liverpool since 1958, and it is to show that since the Halls and Shepherd took over the club we are massively nearer to challenging them than we have been since before they took over the club. And also to point out the mistaken view to many people have that we won trophies galore, always played in europe, always bought top quality footballers and always filled the stadium before the Halls and Shepherd took over the club. It is also to point out that many, many clubs in the past have fallen from heights of actually being championship winners, European Cup winners, through chaning boards or simply just getting things wrong, so being careful and wishing the replacement of a board who have presided such a big improvement, may not necessarily be the golden egg that you hope for. The biggest issue I have with the forum is when threads get hijacked, twisted and decsend into endless diatribe, which is why these posts were removed from another thread. I agree though, the NUFC forum is shite and has been for a long time, I doubt many would disagree either. Gen chat is canny though. One of the main reasons I've personally given this place a wide berth since the end of the season. I don't come on here after a hard day's graft to fucking 'debate'. I come on here to have a laugh and a bit of a giggle. Listen love, 3 months ago we were staring down the barrel of relegation. We couldn't score, let alone win a game. Now, we're upto 6th with a shout of Europe and still some are slagging the team and Roeder off. Staggering. so we're not going to qualify for Europe, so what! I'm just happy we're still in the Premier League.
