My criticism was his team selection at the start. The England comparison was more about winning but still having room for improvement.

I normally defend Howe but Barnes had to start today. Unless he was carrying a knock or something that we didn’t know about.

You can hear him shout 'Time' on numerous occasions to Murphy. When we need to break a team down like today, he is a great option to Tino. Otherwise, we are too predictable going down the left.

You play your best players in your starting 11, simple as. I think Howe knew he fucked up the selection today. Murphy is decent off the bench as shown in the last game.
