  1. True. Obviously, I know absolutely nothing about the facts of the matter, but I find it very suspicious that Gerrard was not guilty of affray for hitting the guy but his mates were... His mates said they were guilty. Gerrard denied the charge. and that matters how ?

No one in their right minds would work with this cowboy! I cannot imagine for the life of me why he isnt accepting offers when he is forking out millions each months on wages. Dosnt make sense! cos he probably isn't forking out millions or even a penny each month on wages.
  3. Couldn't agree more with that sentiment. Really? Personally I'd like to cling on as long as possible, never know when some miracle cure could come out, unlikely but there's always the hope. as and when you've watched it,felt it a bit more you'll realise that the miracle cure is a way off and the pain is closer. i fully understand and concur with crumpys sentiments. I dont know about that, Im not one of these pro life hillbillies but its definitely something worth fighting for, ive seen cancer take close ones away and whilst you can take comforts in seeing your loved ones ease away from horrific daily pain, nothing can replace the time spent in those final moments fighting the disease. Theres a tragic twisted logic in there somewhere, euthanasia is just far too clinical and detached from the emotions that feelings that surround said event, neccessary feelings. you sure a bout that ? we are talking about people with weeks maybe months left of horrific pain against the chance of in those few weeks or months a cure will bring them back from advanced, terminal conditions ? 100% certain. They are truly horrific times but they are always dotted with some incredibly deep and meaningful moments. Im not talking about waiting for a cure bythwway, my angle is more about fighting the disease to the very end. Like i say, personally Id fight all the way to the end. hope you're there before me then. as soon as the pain is unbearable and the docs say there is nowt they can do then i'll bail. buger that what am i talking about.....i'm gonna die of heart failure whilst riding kylie from behind (it's the thought of that that helped her beat cancer)

Spot on s'all in the semantics. were the bids of 100mill window price but we'll give you nowt for the debt etc. the press haven't helped in the lack of clarity in their reporting whilst the fans have jumped on every word as a literal truth (when it suits).
  7. Bray Wanderers. If we're counting this then i guess we can count that. Competetively though? Probs Sheff Wed? what was the bray wanderers one ? i don't know the answer. last i remember was notts county in the league cup. don't remember us putting seven past sheff wed away.
  8. Good, now Arsenal can go sign a real striker.. But they won't.. martins
  9. lomano tresor lua lua to stoke apparently.
  10. last season he was. the season before richards was fantastic. better than onouha last season. it's a regular thing for youngsters to burst on to the scene then drop back. especially defenders where experience appears to count for more. in short they are both good players and still very very good prospects.
  11. quick one...when was the last time we scored seven goals away from home ?
  12. wrong. they got beat 4-1 off some traffic cones behind closed doors at darsley park
  13. definite echoes of zico martin. Or, dare I say it, a David Kelly? Never in a million years a top flight striker, but a forward who could get the goals to help us up? Who knows. bollocks. ned was perfect for what we needed at the time. zico was cack and the zico tag came about as a piss take

humble thoughts and good points none the less.
  15. or it could polarise things further as clubs like chelsea and man city can, will and do pay more in wages after tax then the vast majority can pay top line. No, because eventually the likes of Abramovitch will take their money out - a bit different in the case of the Arabs, but then, even our esteemed neighbours on Wearside were once known as 'The Bank of England Club' back in the 1930s, ad a fat lot of good it did them...when sponsorship monies start to become tight, it will be well-run clubs that benefit, not just the present Top 4. so until that happens it will polarise further.

skirge and dave in the big brother house. they'd just be rocking backwards and forwards mumbling incoherently.

if john gibson says that, is it safe to assume that an auction is taking place above 100mill ?
  19. Bad news there today like. Stand being erected for a Madonna collaped, killing 1 man shit.....when did she sign for them ?
  20. if players do get sold before any takeover,,,then it is time to worry big style as it would then appear any takeover is dead and ashleys cutting the wage bill regardless. it wouldn't be good to try and sell a club whilst selling its assets at the same time (think of selling a house complete with garden and garage and also trying to sell the garage and garden seperatly....the buyers may still be interested but the terms are going to change to reflect it) re shola.....i think he'd go well in this league. someone mentioned earlier that he isn't a physical player for his size. the problem being that in the prem the defenders are smarter. i've never seen a forward penalised so much when actually being fouled or standing his ground.

Not if transfer revenue is not released by SJH. It could be he is holding on till he gets all the revenue possible in and then letting go to the new owners who's welcome will be a nasty letter from Barclays. It's the only thing that makes sense to me. Why hang on if he has to keep finding from HIS OWN FUNDS the player wages?? Who knows? I'm just trying to understand his reticence at selling the club quickly and getting out of the forest fire that is surely coming. if the overdraft is paying the wages then that will fall on new owners. his retcence will be that he thinks a better offer is coming or they are haggling over the details. I can't imagine a better offer than a 100m for a club with no assets and some kind of serious debt structure. neither can I.
