it's the way of the world these days. the way that sees a team get booed when they go top of the league, the way nothing is good,it's only excellent or shite, the way everyone will jump on a story and make up their tiny little tabloid fuelled minds with no evidence just prejudice to guide them

always slightly nervous before we play spuds and then invariably wonder why afterwards.

as if we have to see much to form an opinion. -
what chance allardyce to mackems and souness to blackburn ?

Probably the fact he has been found out to be extremely greedy, yes I can understand being annoyed that someone like Taylor has gotten a pay-rise when not deserving of one, but Milner had been given an extension 12 months previously, and judging by his form certainly did not deserve a pay increase. the bitterness started a while before the contract shite he stirred up.

Beye was signed by Ashley.....actually he was signed by Fat Sam but it was during Ashley's reign But neither Wise, Jiminez and Vetere were employed by the club at the time, and knowing how the system employed under these they wouldn't have let Big Sam sign Beye. nor barton or smith hopefully.

Bayern has offered him a new contract and he will surely sign it! He's their captain so why should he leave them? Where you from mate? I'm guessing Germany had him down as dutch myself -
good job it wasn't someone like shearer kicking out at,say, neil lennon for example.
-
it's a "favourites" thing. same goes for taylor and owen. they aren't crowd favourites so each little flaw will be magnified and pounced on,where as for others, the crowd faves......n'zogbia,martins for example, anything they do wrong is excused.

Wait until he realises he can't cross and has no pace. pace isn't a necessity but his delivery could be better I'd say pace is a necessity for a winger unless you've got an unreal levl of technical ability a la Solano. i wouldn't have said solano had an "unreal" level of ability. he had technique, movement and nouse and he went through a spell before he went to villa when his delivery was lazy and poor.

must've just had the helicopter waxed ;D This exaggerated praise for anything Owen does is driving me mad. It was a gilt-edged chance, set up by another player. It only became a difficult chance when he miscontrolled the ball. If Shola had missed it, everyone would be screaming for his head. if anyone apart from n'zog had missed it we'd all have been calling for their head.

movement when in possession and organisation when not in possession.

bare in mind 2 of those draws were from winning positions,at home and to last minute equalisers.....mid table was ours.

i'd erather martins didn't go so wide so much and just worked the channels I think he just goes where the space is, and to be fair, if he's making goals from out wide I don't mind. he'd create more staying more central but not very central. You mean like his run across the box when Owen scored? exactly in a way. he moved cleverly,he normally doesn't If he's creating, scoring or facilitating goals I will put up with his faults I guess. me too. i just think he's wasting himself. he has the talent, pace and power to be a top forward....lacks nouse.
-
If we had any indication that he wanted to stay I'm sure we'd be singing his name from the rooftops. All he has to do is say "I'd like to stay" but he hasn't done that yet has he? he'd want to stay if he thought it was his best option....AS GOES FOR EACH AND EVERY ONE OF THEM

I understand that but it's as if people look at results in isolation, I still think we'll finish higher than last season but not as high as I would like or as high as I hoped for at the beginning of the season. Today's result was massive. After our disappointing results at home winning at Portsmouth was probably the only way we were going to restore some belief in the side. It's quite funny that the media have been having a wankfest over Redknapp's 'revival' at spurs yet they are now below us in the table don't forget citeh. 3 away clean sheets off the bounce. when was the last time we done that ?

We'll have to agree to disagree, the extremes are mad. it's the way the league is at the moment. i've never known it like this so far into the season where a single win can not only change your perception but actual position.

what did he mouth ? "i aint signing a new'un" ?

That sounds like knee jerking to me and yes, the passports out. it's not knee jerking...it's a legitimate state of affairs.
