I wonder if our standing in the game has altered much at this level. Are we seen as a club that can develop youngsters with the new coaches brought in and change of ethos.

Haven't looked but at a guess he'd much rather stay there but head turned solely by the money

Basically what I was trying to say

Nah its not that, it's just the way conversations often go off on a tangent. -
Why ? It happens with dodgy weather and TV timings.

I view, or rather don't, the country in more abstract terms. Either way its hard to be proud of or not be proud of is it geographical or social ? Are we any different to say the French just in a different geographical setting ? Have I not got more in common with a Mechanic in Toulouse than I have with Prince Charles ?

Taking this to it's logical conclusion I shouldn't use cash because its got the queen's head on, I should leave the country because technically I'm her subject, I should work every Sunday (it's already in my working week) because of its religious connotations and I'm an atheist.....should I go on ?

I'm working it and don't know if I'll get it in lieu. If I get a lieu day for the Tibetan day of the dead I'll take it. If I work and I'm not supposed to ie if I ignore it and work when I'm not supposed to there's a good chance I'd be arrested and quite possibly end up inside due to the peculiarities of my job

No, it's called respect for the Monarchy, of which I have none.

Yeah, I just thought if they read our boring conversation about it, it may put them to sleep and by the time they woke it might be too late to do anything about it anyway. -
Yeah you can, but on the other hand why should you ?

There have been other examples that had no connection with the club, Her sister for example. That's where the issue started, once you've started, it's difficult to stop, especially when it's the head of state -

I know where you're coming from and I agree but the precedent has already been set. If tributes are had for lesser status people as they have been (and I'm one that mutters aloud "why the fuck arecqe doing this?") then you cant really say no when it's the head of state. -

Even as an ardent Republican (UK) I can understand why. If you have tributes for fans, players etc then the nations head of state would be a given and this is where it gets difficult for how each individual does it. I'd respect the tribute for the Queen but giggled all the way through her sisters. -
How about if your, in our case, an atheist Republican?

We'd stay that. Ramsdale has been getting very good reports and Henderson hasn't been bad. All close and each has different things they are slightly better than the others at.

The original spelling would save letters so be cheaper. -

That was one of my suggestions and I donated £20 for it. -
No matter how good or bad he is.
