I'd put Arca in ahead of Domi. What was Alonso like there ?

As Left back or midfield ? Midfield he wouldn't make first 3 squads, left back he's behind Beresford, Bernard, Enrique, just off the top of my head. Edit.....I'd argue Stuart Pearce as well.

Build like an all time prem squad of ours, a squad of 25 players. Philips might break into our second squad but wouldn't get much game time. He's their best.
  4. So more or less every position on the field bar FB (strange unless Targett is agreed). And that's names mentioned to you, fairly sure in their position I'd be a bit more secretive.
  5. From what I've read Ashworth isn't that involved in actual recruitment. He's more the bloke who gets those in charge of the different aspects to work together.
  6. Hope it doesn't happen cos you're bored ?.Interesting if slightly bonkers taken on the situation.
  7. Anton Ferdinand about Franck Kessie, saying he hasn't been that good tonight and linked with Barce etc "you've got to do it in games like this", really, you've got to do it in meaningless friendlies on the run in to the end of a season when you're in pole position to win one of the major European titles. Fucking idiot !
  8. You see, I don't even think Shelvey is that slow, just until recently he read the game defensively very poorly so he was always chasing. Re Kamara I'll take a slight lack of pace for game reading ability all day and FWIW Bruno is no speedster.

Well alcohol might certainly have played a role in that link.
  10. I think saying he's not very mobile is a bit harsh btw. He's not box to box cos that's not his role, reads the game well, blocks men off, very good in possession, very much the modern slightly defensive centre mid.
  11. Kamara would seem ideal for a double pivot with Bruno.
  12. No, like it says, they'll work with the Premier league to get round it. Had it been Watford or Palace, the book would be getting thrown.
  13. But there's also the self fulfilling prophecy side to things. Non related companies corporations etc will want in knowing where this is going to go and a premium for that. With them being non related it should be easier to get them through and that will boost the price for other seemingly related deals.

That glass screen/window could double as a screen.
  15. That's got nowt to do with previous stance on coming here though.
  16. Very much doubt that would come in to it.
  17. Anyone been keeping check on him since January ?
  18. Sweet that LV managed to comment on the post before and some 3 weeks later simultaneously.
  19. Ooh look at me, Big enough to admit I mightve made a slight mistake......pathetic.
  20. TBF it was a funny line. Its well enough used on both boards, you must've seen the style. "Bloke at the pool bar here reckons we're about to sign X" Reply "Oooh look at me at the pool bar......pathetic!"
  21. Alternatively a good enough squad to rotate now and again, also to he able to vary formation/tactics as and when.
  22. It wasn't strongly written. It's an often enough used standard, copied from RTG I think. There's probably over a hundred example of yhe "pathetic" line on this board alone
