It's why I put a question mark. It was more a query than an answer. Is there a break down somewhere of each teams goals from open play and set pieces ?
-
Because the vast majority of goals come from open play ?
-
Mine as well. I've been sure the last 3 seasons that it was the end.
-
Add on to this, Cross Country trains fron Edinburgh are often less crowded than LNER ones.
-
Yeah well Leeds might not be by then. FWIW I don't care about them, kickabout is a good description.
-
Surprised you picked that one and not the first one.

He's a strange one. During the game and straight after when the emotions are all going he's an arsehole who talks utter cack. Away from that I'd bet he be great to have a pint with and just listen to the stories.
-
I've a few personal recollections to be fair.

Don't think it's respect as much as being suicidal defensively.

Totally get what you mean re the ghost signage, just means the place needed a bloody good clean. That means as much as the actual font for me. It's only on here that I've known the font mentioned. -

Because its a font. It's only a minor difference from the previous font and most I know who aren't on here don't even know the difference. -

The NEWCASTLE UNITED font on the East Stand. Cracks me up the way some go on about that. -
True enough, when he knew the oppo was there.

Did we have two Debuchys. He was regularly beaten by a man coming in behind him and him just not knowing the the attacker had arrived. It was his blind spot.
-
I reckon Gordon Banks could've held Pele's header instead of needlessly giving away a corner.
-
They all have to come here as well.
-
Maybe not in the short term but I'd guess they are playing a longer game and building tge perception of the club within the game. Also they may not have wanted him triggering a new contract of which we dont know the terms.
-
This is important as well and may be forgotten or glossed over but how the club is perceived within the game, by players, agents, other clubs officials etc is very important in what we are building.
-
Would Forest have wanted him in the Summer ?
-
That was partly due to Maxi being injured and a main reason behind buying Gordon.
-
It does and it doesn't. It shows how poor the squad was (even down to the youths) but it also shows that we'll get what's needed long-term. I think you are looking at "now" as opposed to growing a strategy.
-
My turn to disagree. What's holding us back is the lack of squad depth, little options to change things, but we've really had one window to build on that and I'll stick with the plan of getting the right ones rather than any ones.
-
How's that not a pen ? Ha ha ha ha though.

Imre Varadi played I think.
