And I have to say as well, it works the other way, if they boot him then it's because they think it's for the benfit of the club. Personally I think it's much of a muchness whether he's there or not, his squad (within reason) his coaching team (again) and I dont think much would change regardless.

Its quite simple. If Bruce stays for however long, its because the new owners think we are better off with him, many faults though he has, than without him and his coaching team in charge, who have been there with him through our "input your own phrase".

And thats why I think he's a coach. Backfired at Luton and Bruce has had some successes (Villa and my Sheff wed mate only hates him for the way he left, but improved them). i'd be panicing if they said it was till the end of the season but they have't been in a week, the players have always seemed to like him so it's game at a time and at the minute it might be 1 game. I'm not going to lose my shit over that.

For me it'll be a disappointment if we sack him without a plan for whats next and I have no idea beyond wishful thinking why you think we'd be more aggressive and progressive with Jones in charge. It's like you think anyone but Bruce is better and as much as we all want him gone, that may not be the case.

Then they obviuosly think they have a better chance with him than without him. Its a coaching team that has much the same stat.

Or they think they are better off with him for the time being than his coaching team without him.

How are they coming over as indecisive ? Because some in the press said Bruce would be gone by Spurs ?

Alternatively everyone knows the situation, many of the players seem to like him and may well think they need to put in a performance as they know they'll be looking for new clubs soon. Sacking Bruce for his coach doesn't seem too great a move at the minute beyond thinking "anyone will be better". Sooner we have a plan and he can be let go the better but we need the plan first.

If thats true our majority owners are showing more sense than the minority owners who are to run the place.

He's just dismissed your ideas, doesn't want to engage etc.

The Mackems at work have been "bloody well enjoy it, we would" without being jealous, they seem quite happy that they seem to have turned their own corner.

I know its a side thing but I've never understood how time wasting is a thing. All the ref has to do is add the time on and players will stop doing it. I'm all for two 30min halves and the clock goes dead when the ball isn't in play.

You have to be on the other side (left in direction of travel) and it's probs about 10secs, come under a road bridge/tunnel and just before it straightens on to the bridge.

It's when you're on the train with away fans and you come round the corner on the Gateshead end of the King Edward Bridge and you hear them "Look at that!".

I'm kind of with you there but some experience wouldn't be a bad thing but not players who seem to have lost their desire.
