  1. Bit of both. We're on the rise, they are on the drop.
  2. Burn booked for repeated fouling.......but not Fernandes ?
  3. Being the most succssful club throught the 70's and 80's and the cache that brings. Klopps point twas that we have no ceiling, we have as much a ceiling as they have and they have many years running things. Rememeber the private inyerview of Rick Parry ?
  4. Liverpools dominance was based on Shankley and Littlewoods money.
  5. Not now. Man City after a few years of that are now self funding. Which because of FFP we'll have to be.
  6. You're not as confident as you say. There's no Chili forfeit being offered.
  7. Or he's pulled the old "I'm just popping out for some cans pet" and the bus is revving up at the top of the street and he returns two days later.

I wonder if the Mackem that spat at Niall Quinn was one of those taking part in holding the "flags" up ?
  9. Might have been 239 shits ?
  10. Central Coast Mariners away at Wellington phoenix live on BT sport 1. 3:30am Sunday morning. Don't know how it works like, live game from 0330 to 0500. Do they not do half time down under like ?
  11. Interestingly Liverpools long period of success was built by Bill Shankly in the early 60s when as a second division club with very modest crowds they bought Ian St John and Ron Yeats for massive fees (Newcastle had been in for St John). It was often rumoured that the money came from the Littlewoods Pools empire
  12. My disdain for them is built on years of going there and their fans (both blue and red) being snide as fuck.

Nah, it'll be Pope. Whenever you writing the team down you always start with the keeper.
  14. I had the final episode of Premier Passions on my "comedy" 3hr VHS tape. 1hr of Bill Hicks, 30mins Will Durst, the University challenge episode of The Young Ones and Sunderlands relegation.
  15. Really ? I've defended Dalglish on here a bit but too many players were coming to their end. It was a squad in need of rebuilding and the money wasn't there, its why Keegan left really. Never thought we'd win the league, thought we'd be in Europe spots though.
  16. While much of that is true, especially the last bit, we've seen how the money gets round it. All it does is delays the inevitable.
  17. In theory it's a game I wouldn't bet on the result and I bet purely with my head. I've won loads over the years backing us to lose at Old Trafford, Anfield, Arsenal and Man City.
  18. So no Rochdale or Hartlepool fans should ever criticise a Premier teams performance. Don't talk cack man.
