Better still, people don't need to "come out". We seem to have reached a point when many people speak of their sexuality its met with a "so.....its none of my business so who cares, you're more than your sexuality" which is good but it seems like it's still a bigger deal for those in the public eye for the media.

Could be fun though as they sit there and outline their plans while our delegate sits there and simply says "Nnnnnnno, I don't think so".
-
True on the first bit,but better get the right appointment in two weeks than the wrong one now.
-
You'd thinknit would be easy to explain. "This team has gone from a one of largely local fan base to a world wide one"
-
I'd imagine it would be heavily incentivised as well. There was a Dutch paper headline the other day with words to the effect of "Why on Earth would he go to Newcastle?" Well, given that he'd be given the job as a project, to build all sectors of the sporting side, from the youngest in training to the first team, to lay out and run an entire plan afresh, not carrying something on, finance being little obstacle in the most high profile league in the world at a place that's won nowt in two generations and one of the few places where a take off would affect the region well beyond sport. That's why. I'd be surprised if deals aren't in place with Fonseca etc and they would jump at it and are prepared to wait to see if they get the job but picking the right person to carry out the vision takes time and maybe the top of the list takes more time to persuade.

Fairly sure it's always been the rule. Normally comes into play when the keeper is well out of position and a defender is on the line and fans are screaming it can't be offside as there's a defender on the line. It's easier to understand if you don't see it as keeper and defenders and just see them all as defending team.

That may happen naturally as many of them on 10yr deals are coming to an end and the kids are now 17 or 18.

As when Ashley done it, providing they keep the original name as part of it, it's worth loads to benefit the club (yes I know under him it wouldn't have been worth nearly as much), then I'm OK. We'll still call it St James' Park regardless.
-
Now there's a term I hadn't heard in a long, long time. Probably last century.
-
Wouldn't that be the same with anyone from abroad ?
-
4 at present, another 6 maybe from Norwich and Burnley, hopeful 3 from Brentford (point more likely), that's a hopeful 13 but it's more a question of being within 6 points of safety half way through January.

We did, Aubameyang too before he went to Dortmund.

For those older, Cantona explained it. For the younger ones you support your local club, especially if they are higher up the pyramid. Then there are those by circumstance who just can't lie to themselves and can't shake it off.

I've no problem with Palace fans (Jordan and Parish, now that's a different matter) and they make for a good atmosphere and back their club well. Seems a bit churlish to have a go.
-
One of the few home crowds that generate a bit of atmosphere and support for their team. Sure youe not just pissed off cos they had a go at us.
-
I honestly think 2 decent centre midfielders and we'd be lower mid table and not too worried about relegation.
-
Gonna be watching sober as I'm at work at 5. It wont be enjoyable le for us and I shall be backing Chelsea -2.5
-
We dont have a central midfield and that is huge in this league.
-
We won it thanks to a Jack Grealish fluke and that team was never allowed to dominate that league like it should. I'm sure rhe Joelinton deal was set up regardless of what Bruce wanted. We were told it was set up even when Rafa was here.
-
Scandinavians have it as well. FWIW we can watch all the nfl games live where I don't think they can in the US.
-
I regularly had a go at him in the championship for being too pragmatic in the championship when he had the largest and most talented squad there. Also we should use the same standards for Bruce then, do you think he wanted Joelinton ?
-
I was never that enamoured with his style of play here and find the adulation for his time here a case of overpraising.
