Thats kind of what I was alluding the other day about whether they had a plan to hit the ground running/already been in contact with agents etc or if the takeover came out the blus for them and they are learning to swim.

Very much a hypothetical line in the sand though and folk are well disposed to give answers based on what they like to think they'd do (or would like to be seen to do) as opposed to what they would actually do. Sometime people arent to honest until the situation actually arises.

Don't think that's quite how it works. Due to amortisation if we signed someone,say for £40mill on a 4yr deal and wages of £5mill a year its spread out over the term of the contract so it would count as £15mill per year so that would come of the 3yr rolling figures.

Football and by extension this place, have always been escapes, providing some respite. Sometimes you need to forget about things, not run away, just have them lifted from you long enough to give you the strength to get back in the fight.
