Do you reckon she knew weeks in advance but saved it for that day ? I missed the Man Utd game a few months later ( Papavasilou to Cole, first point in the premier league) due to moving my stuff out of the house after living with my girlfriend of the time for 3 years. Do you see a pattern here, they just can't stand seeing us happy. ?

Telepathic, knew how it would end.

Not quite, clubs revenue not just transfer sales.. He wants the club to run on it's own and I don't think many will have an issue with that. The problem being his running of the club leads us to not have the revenue we should/could have.
-
Didn't he want about that much at the start of the whole process but eventually seemed prepared to sell for 300mill but without the relegation clause ?
-
Been a long time since I played but I wonder, given one season with a relegated team, how hard you'd have to work t end up where they have in the real world.
-
Ooh I don't know. I'd quite like Gillingham to do that.

Why is she biting her hand ?

Donny will get a hammering of Mackems unless it's late on in the season and they are doing cack.

Bit early to have a sweep on the first League 1 club to have a fan in peace on RTG........I'd still be looking at Luton like.

Anyone but Millwall. A more rancid set of fans you'll struggle to find. Cardiff fans are as close as you'll get. They were fairly decent when we went there last season like. More than accommodating in giving us thousands more tickets than we were entitled to and were happy to mingle in bars and clubs both pre and post match. I didn’t see any bother. The last two times they've been up here they've been minging. The Friday night game they were as bad as I've known in the past 20years

Its the way it works for them, they beat us in the play offs, it kind of leads on to the Keegan era. They stayvup and win to send us down and within the blink of a sleepy eye we are seemingly comfortable ( only ever seemingly while Ashley is there) and they.....well they are probably as low as they have ever been given the differences between the third level and the last time they were there.

You wouldn't think so few people could make so much noise.

Anyone bar Cardiff and Millwall. Cardiff will get the auto place though do it be wanting Fulham through the play offs.

I was at a BBQ this afternoon and loads of the blokes kept asking for updates. Even went as far as reading out RTG match thread posts as Bent scored....then the winner....then the realisation they were down. Thank you RTG for adding to a lovely day.

And its all captured for posterity and about to be broadcast on Netflix Too much coincidence in all that, highly suspicious.........hilarious and suspicious.

It appears that the new position to take on RTG is to fake detachment. Seems strange to go onto your clubs forum to state you aren't bothered about relegation. Their other position is to state that because neither team has won anything for ages then we are basically in the same position.

He played a lot last season, rarely well. Horrible maybe hyperbole but he wasn't good or even OK.
-
Starting to look the player we thought he could be before we got relegated, lets face it he looked horrible last season and a fair bit of this before we pushed on a bit, good on him, even winning a challenge or two and his goals are usually quality and never scrappy.

Right, now bearing in mind I packed in going to away games about 15yrs ago so things may have changed (my friends who still travel so not mind) and Liverpool (the city, both Everton and Liverpool) are nothing like us, they have a snide side missing from us and I know all clubs have their twattish follwers but those from that area were notorious. I'm sure Brummie posted something similar a while back.

So who's old enough to remember Jon Dahl Tomasson ? Remember how he never seemed to recover from that one on one on his debut ? Did the opposite happen for Martin ? The first thing he was really called on to do on his debut was that one on one and he won, grew in stature and the confidence that goes with it. Hoping this is a sealed deal.

I think it’s more of a case of Southgate being a manager who the FA have put in charge to keep the status quo of continuing to play the players who have a face that’s fits. Shelvey doesn’t have a face that fits, he’s not a big enough name for the FA yet. Nah it's not just that but his mentality has been called in to question a few times, look at the way he left Swansea, he has the talent but building a squad for the world cup is more than just picking the best players. Anyway, I want my teams players to get international recognition but get slight injuries that keep them out of the tournaments so they a)don't get too much attention that they get poached, b) don't get bad injuries that affects us.
