To be fair to Brentford they were probably only behind us in the way they were hit by injuries, first choice back 4 out for ages I think and Toney banned for yonks.

I like the intensity, it works, but we need to be more than just that when teams sit back, that was the plan for this season until that pesky injury witch landed here.

Even playing a front three, having the other to bring off the bench, with our intensity, would be devastating. Remember when we had a normal Injury hit squad (2022/23) only Brentford made more subs and most of ours were forwards to maintain the intensity.

Why are we investing in London ?

I think the plan is to have is to have few "starters" so we can mix and match game by game. Especially in the forward positions where we press so much and sub quite a bit.
