I would say it's circumstances. Unlucky injuries( turf toe, dislocations, spinal stuff which isnt too many minutes), suspension (looking at you here Tonali) mean things get stretched, it happens at most clubs that don't have Man City's type depth and thi is get risked. Wilson has played through that type of thing here before and got away with it.......and "he declared himself fit".

It happens all the time, players coming back quicker than ideal and playing through injury. Re Joelinton, how many times have players played on not knowing their injury was more serious than thought. Really we should take anyone off at the first twinge.

I'd like to see some kind of sanction brought in for team fouls. It's getting more of a thing of repeated soft deliberate fouls to stop teams breaking. Man City forward players do it regular.
