  1. Looks like its the League cup for the 3rd and 4th tier.
  2. I wonder if there is more to this than meets the eye as they could ban thousands "purely" on the social media musings.
  3. Why not have a meeting and change it straight away, like they did just after our takeover ?
  4. The system does change and has changed depending on personnel. For all it looks similar on paper, we've used different presses for different teams and for our line ups and apart from always having Trippier finding space we've employed different methods of attacking to try and exploit the opposition. The way some make it sound is that all they do in training is keep fit and just do the same thing week in week out, which isn't what I've witnessed.
  5. They could balance each other out. There's no need to stay as a middle 3.
  6. I've always thought the "smaller clubs" are kept on board by the promise of a decent enough cut of TV revenue, enough to keep them going while stopping any chance if them putting in a sustained challenge. If the vote against the proposals wanted by those certain 6 clubs the threat would be for a Spanish style "go it alone" style divide of the TV monies.
  7. They really are shit scared of us aren't they ?

    Alfie Harrison

He got so much time in the friendlies due to Longstaff and Willock being injured.

I remember renditions of Iron Maidens "Bring your daughter to the slaughter" as well. The allegation were by doctors (Marrietta Higgs) about parents, satanic rituals iirc.
  10. There's a thing here covering the Premier league years, not very conclusive as the reasoning though. https://www.amsr.org.uk/football-watchers-have-become-a-better-reflection-of-society/
  11. Could but in my experience rarely did. The age rise is as much to do with sell outs for years and others not getting addicted to going because they couldn't get in. I bet somewhere there's an actual age comparison from the 70s to now. As someone who didn't, for a long time, have a regular spot, I'd often be in parts of the ground which was quite older than say the Gallowgate centre. Would be fascinating to get actual figures.

    Lewis Miley

And with experience his reading of the off the ball side of the game will get quicker.
  13. That's not how it looks inside the ground like. The only difference is that groups of young'uns cant go together as they cant just sit where they want like we could all be together with our mates.
  14. I think we needed legs to do that more than experience.
  15. I don't think the price card works up here. Its the same sort of people that go now as did when I started in the 70s. More women and families but overall its basically still the same demographic.
  16. As someone who wanted SBR to move over at the end of the season before he did and someone who often grumbled about Rafas style of football..... they are just opinions. Its the way those opinions are pressed that's the issue to me. I'd never have a go at any players or staff in the ground unless they obviously couldn't give a fuck (and I can't remember many that fall into that category) as it's so self defeating.
  17. GORDON'S ALIVE !!!!! (Couldn't find a clip of Mr Blessed shouting those two words alone)
  18. Some turn up in the ground with a "I've paid my money so I can say what I want" attitude likes it's a purge zone, where normals rules don't apply. In and round the ground on Saturday was the first time there was a definite feeling of entitlement from a good few, enough to feel it. It made me think of a Man City fan we met a few years back who said things had changed, the atmosphere, and he was hoping they'd wil the title (their first Premier title)that season so he could fuck off with his Macclesfield ticket and his son would then be old enough to go on his own.
  19. There's the Klopp we know and hate.
  20. He's not paid a fortune to be "honest".
  21. Klopp. Not even close for all Arteta's a twat. He's nowhere near Klopp, and if he was the Liverpool fans entitlement and hypocrisy would nail it.
