I think it's up to the player and manager to gauge where he's at. Decent arguments can be made either way.
-
Nah, hyperbole is the worst shit ever. Does a pass become a better or worse pass depending on if it results in a goal ? Did the exquisitness of Willocks pass depend on Isak scoring ? Is it a lesser pass if Isak puts it wide ? It's why assists is a shit metric.

You have to qualify for the champions league but the way its set up means its more likely that certain clubs will almost be one step below "guaranteed" and they are even pushing for that (legacy teams).
-
What if he'd made those same mistakes but they didn't score, is he still seen as having a "shit" game ?
-
If the injury table site is anywhere near right I don't think Eddie will have much of a choice what XI to play.
-
Let's see if they get 12 first team squad injuries that last 2 or 3 months.
-
Before injuries our away games were Brighton, Man City and Wolves.
-
Look at the difference between home an away form in all teams sports all round the world.
-
Is the clause a fact or someone looking for an explanation? From what I've seen he looks like a baller, great passing and all round technique , be great at 5 pots in but not as yet a left back or any other defined position/role despite the talent. He's 19...... he's got loads of time with tie right coaching.

Nope. Not yet. Longstaff off the ball is more effective and does the rotations with more conviction. Miley is a hell of a prospect but if he was 23 and cost £20mill we'd view the performances more truthfully.
-
He could still be a good prospect that he doesn't trust right now.

Yip. The League cup has never had the kudos of the FA Cup.
-
It doesn't seem to be a done thing across the board at the minute. Wonder if the substitution windows are having an effect ?
-
That was where (imo) where Tonali was supposed to fit in. I don't see him as some do as merely a Longstaff upgrade.
-
But that's it, I think we probably would have with the extra bodies, like we did last season when we saw many a game out.
-
I personally think 2 or 3 extra bodies and we are in the semis.
-
Dortmund had the extra bodies and ability to freshen up from the bench mostly.
-
It's a squad depth, injury and fatigue issue imo
-
Man City Brighton and Wolves were all similar to last season (In fa t I'd sat we were better at Man City and Wolves than least season). Look at our level of substitutions last season, 2nd most and usually from the attacking 6 players to keep intensity up. Eddie was rotating Isak and Wilson. Barnes started for Gordon when he got injured. Murphy got a few starts, a d we started tge season without Willock and Longstaff. So far the only thing people have came up with is Trippier should gave came off for Tino at Wolves, which even if true wouldn't have made a huge deal of difference given everything else.
-
We haven't had a bench since West Ham.
-
The same one I was saying at the time was the pick between him and Botman and the other one who's name I can't remember.
-
It happened at the Leazes end. Mitrovic against us.
-
I think that would have happened even if Trips hadn't got injured.
-
Not just today. He was always looking to, and usually did, make nice passes against Man City. Not sure about him defensively but he has got plenty of time.
-
Not really. Because we'd used two "sub windows" early we really were worried about any more injuries, otherwise Gordon would have been off as soon as we got the 2nd.
