  1. Setting the transfer window alight tbh.
  2. Same here. We've started far too well, a kick in the bollocks is just around the corner.
  3. Yep. Can't really be good for team morale. Play well, stay loyal to the club, get your wages cut. I'm not looking forward to the inevitable break down in relations between the club and Colo/Jonas within the next few months
  4. Regardless of what you think of Simpson (my own personal opinion - great lad, great pro, average player) it's pretty worrying that the club are completely incapable of negotiating contracts with our current crop of players...except for Shola.
  5. Gateshead is part of Greater Newcastle, just like places like Whitley Bay and even Sunderland, debatably. Quite possibly the biggest load of horseshite I've ever read, and there have been some contenders I can tell you. Sorry, been waiting to use that for a while - a lass at uni once asked "So is Sunderland in Greater Newcastle" and I quickly filed it away under "Suggestions likely to give a mackem a conniption fit." I'm nicking that
  6. Been there for years has it not? Aye.
  7. It's a shame they couldn't have got rid of the rest of Sulgrave too.
  8. I wouldn't read that into it. There are Puma adverts all over the ground. But to put signage on the stadium. The club wouldn't do that for one season. I'm sure it can easily be replaced by the Adidas/Umbro/Donnay logo come the summer.
  9. I wouldn't read that into it. There are Puma adverts all over the ground.
  10. This. I've no doubt he's frustrated at not being given the tools to do his job, regardless of whether he knew this was the case when he accepted the post or not, but he'd be daft to resign. This is the biggest job of his career, the biggest one he's ever likely to have and despite not having the funds to play with he's doing a decent job up to now. He's rebuilding his reputation. He'd not walk out on a 5 year deal because we couldn't sign a striker.
  11. He's daft as a brush, but he'd be class to go for a pint with No doubt, he's improved no end since Willo's signing That and he has had a good spell of fitness and a good pre-season Remember the first half of the Championship, Taylor and Colo were brilliant together until he got injured. We were winning lots of games 1-0 but after Williamson arrived, we conceded more goals but started to score a lot more as well. Everyone looked brilliant alongside Colo in the Championship...apart from Khizanishishishishishishishvili.
  12. Steven Taylor is clearly not a cheese connoisseur
  13. We were never in for him, were we? Twente president tells every journalist bar David Craig we've not bid or we're too late, Ruiz's agent says he'd talk to us if we're interested but doesn't show up for our 'scheduled' meeting. It clearly was bollocks.
  14. Eh? No reasons why not. Paperwork and medical can be done wherever the players is. And how exactly? Don't suppose we have paperwork and doctors in every major city in Europe Dont suppose the paperwork can be faxed? That be witchcraft.
  15. We've got to hoy a cheeky bid in
  16. I'd fucking love it if we signed Balotelli. For that and that reason only I expect us to sign nee cunt or Macheda.
