  2. I was gobsmacked when I read he was only 19 like. Fuck off! 19?? I shouted fuck off when I read it before my jaw hit the ground. He waits at the training ground like that too ffs. He'd get the fucking sack if he turned up to work in my restaurant dressed like that. I don't think he works.
  3. Hipster Shola But yeah, that bloke in the facepaint must be a care in the community case.
  4. Raylor would've scored one against Chelsea if it hadn't been for Jonas' arse.
  5. I'm going to guess the BBC coverage or lack of it had something to do with how late the game finished rather than an anti-NUFC agenda.
  6. Don't be daft, man. Away with you, you sensible bastard.
  7. It almost makes you yearn for the days when we couldn't attract/afford international class players. At least we didn't have to worry about their legs falling off while on international duty.
  8. They don't seem to see the difference between what Newcastle have announced to increase gates and what they do on a monthly basis to force a few extra people through the door. For example, the scheme launched yesterday is aimed at current season ticket holders, therefore the people who will benefit are likely to be close friends and family of said ST holders (unless you know Jonny, then you're getting fuck all). Sunderland, however, seem to like to pull stunts like this... A marked difference, I'm sure you'll agree. Bias has nothing to do with this either, I thought their £19 season ticket for kids a few years ago was an absolutely brilliant move and as a football fan I'm actually a little gutted it didn't take off because more clubs would've looked to adopt similar schemes.
  9. Elliot Santon - Colo - Perch - Raylor Marv - Abied - Gosling - Fergie HBA - Best
  10. Tiote and Saylor are out. Abied likely to start in place of the former, Perch the latter.
  11. The SMB has always been the same. I can vividly remember claims during the 15 point season that they were "two or three players away from a UEFA Cup spot".
  12. Fuck aye, it's Martyn. Would be righteous if him and Teethgirl got it together. Don't give him any ideas, she's the only lass in the country he hasn't sexually harassed.
  13. Best's got a weird accent, like a rudeboi that's just had a stroke.
  14. And for that reason alone it's a great scheme. Credit where credit is due the board/Llambias/Ashley have done well here.
  15. You must gan mental when you buy a new tele only to pop into Currys a few weeks later to see the same model a few hundred quid cheaper I'm not well off either but we got the 10 year price freeze option for renewing early, which will probably save us more than £206 over the next decade. Anyway, this new offer is directed at us - it's not as if anyone can wander in off the street and buy a cheapo ticket, it's for current ST holders. If you don't like it then tell all your mates to fuck off when they come asking for you to get one on your supporter number.
  16. One win against a side in awful form and the arrogance is back God love 'em.
  17. He was much improved today, back to the old Simmo, but I doubt he can keep that up while his personal life is so turbulent. I get the feeling he needs a few weeks off.
  18. Everyone believe's we're going to pick up three easy points therefore a humiliating loss is on the cards.
  19. Yup you sure did rated Carroll even saying that he was better than Suarez How times have changed. Quite a few (valiantly led by the likes of Wullie) was not willing to sell him for even 50 million when he was sold. I want us to get one more striker in January but no thanks to Carroll. As for his current value, probbaly around the 12M mark now That's what being a football fan is all about. We're allowed to be contrary and hypocritical. In January it did feel like Carroll was worth £50 million to us but 10 months on and it's beginning to look like his transfer for £15 million shy of that asking price is the best thing that has happened to us. I love Carroll and think he'll be a cracking striker eventually but would I have him back? No. Not when he's in this form and he'd cost that much. Not that we'd sign him in these circumstances, like. Reduce the fee by £10 million and Mike will talk.
  20. Absolutely nee chance we'd pay £18 million for him when we can spend half of that on a semi-decent striker from elsewhere.
  21. Miles ahead is overstating it hugely. I'll stick with Fergie on this one. Fergie's obviously doesn't think too highly of either of them. O'Shea has been very poor since he came into the side. Sholaesque levels of pace on display, awful positioning etc. Richardson has looked more accomplished at full back for them and that's saying something.
  22. Miles ahead is overstating it hugely.
  23. The other 2 are hardly ones for the future either. Brown is 32. 4 year deal. And he's been shite compared to Saylor this season O'Shea has too but I can just about forgive that selection due to Simpson's performances of late.
