  1. would it though? Especially when your previous record fee is basically the average going price for decent players these days? Sure, at Madrid or Man U or PSG or someone splashing out 50m+ the bosses get involved. 15m though? What is there to discuss? depending who you believe that could be 20% or more of our entire season budget, not impossibly ashley has asked to be kept informed of such a spend So I think there's a distinction between your post and the one I quoted. The OP mentioned specifically "running it by him", which implies getting consent, and not just "kept informed of". Either way, I was more getting at the fact that breaking our (rather small) record transfer fee means very little in an era of inflated player valuations and shouldn't be the baseline for "need to talk to the owner to get approval"

  3. Wor pedro should sign up for Spicer's job
  4. It's rather ridiculous that the only matches I can stream are the ones that aren't being shown on TV. They want people to double dip of course. I'll just continue pirating abstaining from watching it.
  5. Very true. If there's one profession I would label as not being able to develop a network of sources from various levels and use non-official channels of communication to get information, it would definitely be journalists.
  6. Would love to see Ronaldo unleashed on r/nufc. Rawktastic at times tbh.

Local strip club advertising during game. Stay classy, Atlanta.
  8. Possibly. It wouldn't surprise me if Carr was one who was putting a spanner in the works regarding Rafa signing players and Rafa has said it's him or me. Carr has clearly gone because Rafa is being given full control, and I doubt they would go as far getting rid of their loyal puppy dog to just go back on Rafa's demands only a matter of days later. On the other hand they appointed JFK twice so they might be dropping acid and consulting a Ouija board for guidance. It's all just really fucking shameful if true. They have priors and I'm inclined to believe they're dumb enough to fuck around a manager like Rafa; a manager around with whom you do not fuck. I can't imagine the fan exodus if they pull one of their cunt stunts again. I don't see any harm in hoping things are resolved positively though. It's just maybe not the most likely outcome.
  9. is that a picture of N-O if the deal falls through?
  10. Leena Sky if I had to take a wildly inappropriate guess.

    Graham Carr

clearly the well where he pulled all that dodgy contract knowledge of the french league ran dry. good riddance.
  12. http://i.imgur.com/i9yzR1X.png No .... no. Not Lee. Anyone but Lee. Is there no one left to trust?
  13. The only problem I see with that is that that's not their business's core competency. They'd have to make massive internal investment to get the tech set up, hire on air (on stream) personalities, negotiate new streaming sponsorship deals etc etc. Far easier for them to just keep farming it out to people who already have all that in place and charge them an arm and two legs for it.
  14. Very common in the foothills of Appalachia.
  15. Criminal, that. (if true)
  16. Have the doom engines been turned on and thrust into overdrive already?
  17. There's obviously no debating the utter lunacy that's gone on under Ashley. But at this point the trust (edit: or better put, the willingness to accept some at-first-glance odd change) doesn't seem so blindly unfounded if one treats Rafa as the canary in the coal mine. All hope for sanity under Ashley is still far fetched, I grant you.
  18. why do we keep going back to the ligue un well
  19. Wonder if he planted any 'sale' triggers into any contracts like the one he tripped over.
