See though, this is kind of like when someone in the Shola thread praises him for trapping the ball well or breathing, as though it wasn't completely to be expected. Mike's just starting to do what he should have been doing all along. Got it tremendously wrong at the start of his tenure and has seemingly righted the ship, but then turns the cannon on his own deck and fires one through with the stadium renaming. If we can get through just one season without some major gaffe like that I'll be a lot more at ease. Dekkas another story altogether, but seems to get along with Pardew.

I don't think we necessarily have to nor that he needs to move for squad reasons. Nest year we'll have 4 strikers in Ba, Cisse, Best and Shola at the club after Lovenkrands leaves and Ranger has a piano fall on him in a freak moving accident. Best is adequate 3rd choice imo. I think all the saber rattling just means Kia wants more money not Tevez. It's in his interest to move if he wants to continue playing. I think he's semi-retired at this point and didn't really want to play for maybe the last year and the Mancini rift has given him the perfect chance to get away. edit: just opinion off of everything that went on prior to the bust up w/ Mancini - if Tevez himself has come out with stuff since I've missed it and will hold my hands up.
