  1. May have been lied to to make me feel bad but I was told it all stemmed from the 1990 car crash?
  2. Was centre mid really all that "glaring" before November? I disagree. I don't think SAF or anyone at their club with the least bit of input on the matter would have let CM go unfixed last summer if they really felt it was going to be a problem. They had Fletcher, Carrick, Cleverly, Anderson, Giggs all capable. With Vidic and Ferdinand both healthy Jones was also being deployed as a DM as well for another option. Even though none of those names are a true/established creative midfielder type that many Man Utd fans were calling out for I still don't think it was glaring as they had Nani, Young, Valencia and Park on the wings or to slot in in the center to help provide. Then the injuries hit all at once; Vidic out for the season, Fabio and Rafael picking up knocks and missing games, Fletcher out indefinitely, Smalling out, Young out, Cleverly out, Ferdinand aging in months overnight instead of days, Anderson out until February at least. It's caused chaos along the back 4 and the midfield as well. I think everything for their first team, bar forwards, is really up in the air right now. Can't say I'm particularly unhappy about the prospect; by comparison they've had tremendous luck with injuries over the years.

There's always been that young+english markup on players so they don't really represent value for money but beyond that and how the player would affect our homegrown numbers I don't really care about their nationality. i don't understand the mark up on english playes. in the past certainly when clubs could only have so many foreigners but not now all EU nationals are allowed. Me either. The guesses off the top of my head are you'd assume they know English well enough already so communication won't be a problem, they are able to slot into the culture of a new city relatively comfortably (e.g. no whinging about the food, weather so on) and are more familiar with the football culture of the league so settling wil lbe much faster. Is that really worth how much more they cost? I don't know. I'm probably overlooking some simple reason.

  5. Was just thinking about Kruls valuation after being reminded of the crap about a 7m buyout floating around christmas time. 4 or 5 years ago it was Juventus's chief scout saying he'd be the next Buffon. The talent has been evident for a very long time and I'm sure even before this season he was on some radars. If (when ) he goes someday I hope it's at least for a Buffon amount.

Go away Alan no one likes you B[
  7. Would, but only because this regime would take £20m, so I end up looking more principled at £25m.

Didn't Vidic shit the bed against West Ham + Ba last year? http://soccernet.espn.go.com/report/_/id/292866?cc=5901 Hauled him down for a penalty, could have been sent off for his troubles. Seems like he used to have that problem with Torres as well.

    St James' Park

    £2.5m That's shocking honestly.
  12. If indeed Ashley is happy with the extent of the clubs ambition being to become a rotating door of cheap+promising players and consistent mid table finishes, they'd snap hands off for 15m.
  13. Well here's hoping 'arry's in jail or managing England by then.

tbh whenever I see him try and smile it reminds me of King Theodren realizing he's going to die in Return of the King http://i.imgur.com/jbLxJ.png
  15. If he isn't their coach wants shooting. mussa sow and papisse cisse are the others. thats some choice. For me he's absolutely murdering it in a much tougher league but i don't know how objective I can really be about him :smitten:

Really looked happy to be on the right and I think being ahead of Simpson helped out Danny's game too. Don't give a fuck he's slow as hell the wand of a right foot should be enough for him to be selected ahead of Obertan.
  19. Able to shrug off and hold people off like he's got an extra 4 stone packed away somewhere too. Just crazy option and he'd better come back healthy.
  20. Insanely jealous of those who got to go, must have been unreal.
