Jacob Murphy has been an absolutely shocking footballer for 90% of his time with us, he's just very likeable, but he's a championship standard player.

I'd say they are pretty similar to be fair in terms of impactful players missing.

Barnes is starting caliber, but we bought a LW 6 months after buying a LW while we have 2 champo level RWs.

The fact is he hasn't adapted well to the injury crisis and weaker teams are above us, some with their own injury crisis. There was a clear break down between Howe and recruitment this summer too, how much of that is on him I don't know. Changes are needed though.

Let's be fair there isn't a lot of technical ability in our squad.

Agree to disagree, that Brighton team is fairly shocking. Who would you even take from them apart from Gross and Mitoma who has been out a lot.

I think we have to give De Zerbi a call too. He's has just as many injury problems as Howe, lost his Colwill, Caicedo and Macallister and is still above us and in Europe.

No time for sentiment, Klopp ball lite isn't available due to running players into the ground so he has nothing else apart from individual brilliance. A solid PL manager but a class below our competitors bar Ten Hag

Dont really rate Ederson, and Ortega plays a lot of big games to be fair. Is it much of a step down?

Gutted Miggy is starting, not sure why we would play him against this Chelsea.

Pretty rough week to freehit in now. Luton, Forest look terrible. Villa vs West Ham with no centre mid for Villa is tough.

I think its the combination of elite individual quality and inexperience. Palmer, Sterling, Nkunku and turn it on at any point but they can also just gift goals.

Chelsea are such an odd team, they will get big chances and they will gift us some big chances. I can't remember a team like this who has the ability to beat everyone but also lose to everyone.

Kamara injury is massive for them too. No McGinn and Kamara for the next 3 too. Top 4 could be over for them.

Why isn't Michael Oliver sending Rodri off for that tackle? We have a cup QF against these next weekend.
