Really good refereeing but Pope still got incredibly lucky as that's usually given (and VAR would never intervene as there's contact). Think it would have been a red too as Pope is not trying to play the ball.

If Trippier hadn't slipped, their xG would have been ridiculously low. Really comfortable win in big picture if you take away Pope's bad touch and Trippier's slip.

Absolutely. Cross accidentally hitting an arm shouldn't be deciding games or ties. Easily the biggest problem with football and why games often turn to 'who can get a penalty' competitions. Trivial things turning into 0.80xg in form of penalties is just wrong and stupid but can't see it changing when nothing happened after the Liverpool-Spurs CL final.
