  1. Why not? He's decent IMO. If his name was Harry Ben Arter.....
  2. "This is the time that all Newcastle United fans have been waiting foooooooooooooooooooooor........"
  3. Ashley is turning him into Harry Benitez.
  4. 7 for Loftus-Cheek? http://www.reactiongifs.com/r/spkyrll.gif
  5. ASHLEY!! AHSLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEY!!! ASHLEY YOU MATHAFAKAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!.....
  6. That doesn't really fit with the grief Joselu gets. So who is at fault? Joselu for not being up to the task? Rafa's for wrongly identifying a player, or ours for not recognising the important role Joselu performs? Mike fucking Ashley!
  7. Better than now one at all. Rondon is decent.
  8. True, at the back they have long-term quality in Maguire, Stones and, hopefully Lascelles, and I'm sure few others like the Liverpool RB (Have no idea what his name is still). Kane is obviously world class and Sterling is someone who has world class ability, but for whatever reason, he's not showing it for England. (Alli too), Apart from that, where are the midfielders that would dominate the match? The Ox and RLC possibly. Even then... will they ever reach the heights of Pogba, Modric, Kross, etc? because those are the standard bearers and therefore it's not an unfair question to ask.
  9. Rio Ferdinand doesn't think so. I agree those past failings have been mainly down to awful management, hence why I gave Southgate credit. However, the obvious truth is, your opposition or obstacles are the teams/players contesting you; not the past. I still think the jury is out on this current crop of players (Southgate too). Out of interest, which international teams do you think the jury is not out on? Is it about how many teams England are ahead or behind of, or is it about how far behind from the top team(s) they are?? In my opinion this tournament, if anything, have showed how far they are behind the top teams. (It didn't show us anything new in that England are better than a lot of the other international teams)
  10. The boss won it here. I've asked the person organising it not to hand out the money until the boss himself asks for it.

  12. Calm down Roy. Doesn't dislike England Does any mild criticism mean you dislike something like? No, but consistent, needless criticism probably does. http://gifimage.net/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/sarcastic-thumbs-up-gif-3.gif
  13. Mainly thanks to club conflict between players. (and whatever else) I'm not sure how the past necessarily stood in the way of today's players, to be frank. Maybe you'd like to explain? You don't see how the pressure of not winning a knockout game or a penalty shootout in ages can affect today's players? I wouldn't say it's a variable that's its effect is that great as it had nothing to do with them, and the expectations were low anyway.

  16. Not sure why there's this talk of England 'overachieving'. Considering the oppositions they met, I would have expected them to make it that far. Obviously, as soon as they met a good side, their frailties were too big to 'get away with'. (Those frailties were very similar to what they showed against the inferior opposition in the previous matches, but heads were buried in the sand about that.) Anyway, Southgate has done well. It will be interesting to see how far their 'progression' in this tournament has taken them when the Nations League starts.

so the only goals that count are ones you want? lets take back all of Shearer's tap ins. He also got 11 assists. I'm sure you know more than Pep though, that he's "just a sprinter". Scored against Napoli twice, Spurs Twice, Us. Guess all the PL defences are shite though so we should take away every goal that is scored by anyone ever. Great shots, they were. Read what i wrote ... At this level ... international level ... Okay, I'll pass that to ManDoon.
