  1. Am I the only one astounded if Richards is left out for both Brown and Upson?
  2. I take it Richards is injured? Couldn't possible be dropped for Brown and Upson???
  3. I wouldn't pin any hopes on Barton. IF, by some chance, he does regain some of the form he showed at Man City, then he will invaribly get locked up for a stretch.
  4. Nothing personal mate, just my opinion, I certainly don't want to get involved in some tit for tat argument. Agree to disagree?
  5. Care to elaborate? Did you honestly not feel cheated yesterday? Not just the goals, but they could do pretty much whatever they wanted to our players while if we even attempted to tackle them, he would stop play. And like Dave suggested, the title is obviously tongue-in-cheek, a play on the media-thread, but the points made in the thread are spot on. On another note, did anyone else notice that they kept replaying the foul on N'Zogbia which led to our goal? As if it looked like he dived, when he clearly was fouled? Honestly my feelings at the end of the game were more along the lines of, 'we were bloody lucky we didnt throw away all the points, never mind cheated out of three.' The game was ours for the taking and its nobodies fault but ours, whether the officials made mistakes or not. If we had players with any sort of ability to keep possession we would have held on to win. There was a point around 80-85mins in, where I felt we had weathered the storm and they had ran out of ideas. However, due to the fact that we couldn't string more than 3 passes together, we kept handing the ball back to them and inviting them on, giving them a new found believe that there was a goal in it for them. All this talk of ref's being against us is embarrassing.
  6. I'm giving up on the radio, England 3-0 Wales
  7. Urggh, they aren't even switching commentators half way through the half.
  8. This is painful to listen too, and thats not only cos Spurs are winning! Basically all the main commentators must be watching the rugby?
  9. Winn It really sounds like you are looking for a way out. It would have to be severely frak weather to stop a taxi driving across to Newcastle. Are you sure you want to go?
  10. Enrique's injury must be ok, otherwise, with N'Zogbia suspended for the Villa game, we are leaving ourselves very short at leftback.
  11. TalkSport reporting Spurs and Pompey have agreed a fee for Defoe.
  12. BBC Transfer page has Alves being granted a work permit, although he hasn't actually signed yet.
  13. Names dont get a lot bigger than Kevin Prince Boateng!
  14. or he was speaking the truth and the clubs are covering up. or both
  15. Could this be a ploy to keep us all occupied on the last day of the window, so that if come midnight he is still here, we are happy, regardless of the fact we haven't signed anyone?
  16. And what would that price be? And are you happy with the current squad?
  17. What would be an acceptable price then? If Spurs were looking at upwards of £8m for Downing? I would need to be seeing at least £10m if he is to go.
  18. Assuming this is true, that he is in talks with them. Would that mean we have already agreed a fee and are happy to sell if he wants to go? Because if that is the case, then you couldn't blame him for going.
  19. If this happens without a replacement today, we are in big trouble. He has been literally our only threat for some time now. I have this awful feeling it will happen for a ludicrously low fee too.
