I enjoyed him moaning about the injury time. If they hadn't had 9 added minutes against Wednesday in 1993, who knows what would have happened over the next 15 years.

Most of the points gained by Allardyce were gotten by players who Keegan hasn't had available to him, particularly the wins. We'd never have beaten West Ham without Viduka or Everton without Emre. Or Spurs without Martins for that matter and KK has to start picking him or he's signing his own death warrant.

Finally, someone without their head up Keegans arse! Form the outside its different, my housemates all feel similar to the above (arsenal, Blackbuurn and Tramemre fans). I don't see how he is. Isn't everyone just saying that Keegan isn't an improvement? Doesn't mean Allardyce was good enough though does it. People are saying we'd have conceded less. I really don't feel like our defence is any worse, just that we're playing teams who won't sneak a win due to poor defending, they will annihilate you.

It was still Allardyce's players and Allardyce's system that got a hiding at Old Trafford. Pompey put four past us and only an off day for Torres stopped the home game with Liverpool from being a cricket score. Allardyce is getting away with murder thanks to the fixture list.

So what, one point difference? We still would have strengthened in the window, and be about 7 points up on where we are, putting us about 12th. When he was sacked I laughed, when Keegan appointed I cried. We missed the boat here lads. Strengthened? He's signed some of the worst players seen at SJP in the Premiership era! Having signed Smith, I wouldn't have offered him a penny.

The problem here was the timing of SA sacking, which wasn't really needed until the summer, but lets forget all that.. Wasn't it? You reckon Allardyce would have done better than KK has with these players? I don't think he'd be doing any worse (technically not really possible). I think he'd have beaten Bolton though. On the run of form he was on? Couldn't beat Derby ffs. Changing the manager hasn't really helped though has it? The whole change process is complex, getting people onside, new methods of doing things, if anything it caused more disruption and more negative impact on our results. Sure SA football was dire, but I would have had confidence in him leading us to ~12th, and being replaced in the summer. I never said it had helped, but the run of results we've had makes Allardyce look better than he was and Keegan worse than he is. Bet Keegan wouldn't have gift wrapped 40% of Derby's points.

I see where you're coming from but I always think he is capable of pulling something out of the bag, despite his recent performances. was* The Owen people think of and the Owen we have are diffrent players. Play Martins and Carrol up front ffs! I'd play Shola me like. Mind, that's the crocked Shola, the fully fit Shola is worse by all accounts.

I can't understand why you would. Betting on something you really don't want to happen is bizarre imo, surely you won't get any comfort at all from the £25 or so you'd profit from it going ahead. I put £35 on Boro to win the UEFA Cup just so they wouldn't. I have total confidence in my bad luck. Already got £15 on us to go down. If we get beat off Fulham, I'm going down the bank.
