  1. aye glad someone agrees i would say get rid but i don't rate our chances of getting ferguson or wenger, the only two i could honestly beleieve would definitly get us where we think we should be....i wonder if some on here if they supported someone else would look on NUFC this season and think "tonnes of injuries f***** their season" exactly i don't bumfuck GR, but he has had a lot to deal with this season and TBh could Fergie or Wenger do any better with us this eason
  2. They re-signed him didnt they? Or was he demanding they re-sign him for a third time? They did aye, McClaren caved purely because of the way the supporters banged on and on about it for years. Didn't do them any good either.
  3. Aye, just been Breaking News on Sky. It's the cambelt apparently.
  4. We sound like the Boro fans who used to ring Century every week without fail demanding for Juninho to be re-signed when we go on with this shite. Can we move on please?
  5. Just to keep claiming it as "the worst injury crisis in Premiership history" doesn't make it true.
  6. Really,Really,REALLY?! So you mean if we sack Roeder and bring in someone like Kevin Keegan,Bobby Robson,Chris Coleman,ANYONE HALF DECENT,it will be a step back?,and we will be even worst then we are now? So in other words, you just said that Roeder have done a good job in avoiding relegation, while his actually job was the get us to Europe?,what next,he will do a good job keeping us as a mid table side?,it will take 10 to 15 years for us to go anywhere with him, that is of course if he dosn't actually do it and gets us relegated next season See mate, the reason Newcastle Fans have an insane demand is because there is no reason to not reach europe,or recored decent results,he got some fine players with him,he got a huge stadium wich is almost full every game week,he had AT LEAST 15 million to spend this season,Other managers, decent managers can reach the champions league having half of that, just look at Bolton,Everton,Reading, and others.. We don't need Mourinho to have a good side,we just need a decent f****** manager, wich is something we didnt have with Souness, nor we have now with Roeder Considering we have had the worst injury crisis in Premiership history I'd say Roeder has done very well to get us even competing. Add Owen to the season we have had and I think we'd easily be Top 6. Have you been drinking? Worst injury crisis in Premiership history my arse! Boro once forfeited a game because they didn't have enough players. That's a crisis, not having to use a couple of Academy lads - the same Boro played a nearly all Academy team last year and put up a better fight than we did today with a strong side. You've been listening to Roeder's boring shite too much, Souness all over again.
  7. If we lose against Chelsea and Reading i wouldnt be too sure about this especially when the relegation zone will be extremely close to us The relegation zone will be nowhere near us. The absolute closest the relegation zone can get to us if all results go against us is 4 pionts with 2 games left and in all likelihood it will be a lot more than that. Does the fact that we're even talking about it not say anything to you?
  8. He's rebuilt the playing squad? What, by signing one striker? Job's a good 'un!
  9. This. Shite strike force, meh right winger and a laughable goal keeper. Would be better than a lot of teams in the prem! Owen and Rooney? I'd take it tbh.

Robinson is error prone but Kirkland defines 'error prone', he's shocking.

Cheers GM, but I'm going for the home one. Wouldn't feel right in second hand clothes either though tbh.

Just had a look on GG-Chat, they're having a go at Sevilla for being "play-acting cheats" White Hart Lane earlier today: http://research.microsoft.com/~dcr/art/architecture/glass_house/glass_house_06.jpg

Proving a reet bastard finding one online, with the sponsor on anyway, they all seem shy of it for some reason. If I can't get one in town tomorrow, I'll have to ask me mother to get me one off the Sevilla official site. Soopafantastic!

Lads, lads, lads, let's not let this video replay nonsense spoil a thoroughly entertaining evening. I just laughed myself through 35 minutes of highlights, I'm hoarse now. Steeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed's fantastic slice Kanoute's brilliant finish and Sevilla's general arse-raping of Spurs for the entire first half Berbatov missing three brilliant chances Michael Dawson proving once again that even kicking a ball in a straight line is beyond him Jenas's head bouncing between the turf and 12st+ stone of athlete, complete with studs - I'll be honest, I nearly wet myself laughing Peter Drury and David Pleat jizzing over Spurs - "I dare you, Tottenham Hotspur, I dare you!" The Spurs fans celebrating when Lennon scored made it miles better than a simple thrashing - http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=3800045947073900456 (that joke never gets old btw) The same team exploding over Zokora's penalty - "clear as day"- pretty foggy fucking day lads. Zokora is a nailed on fucking cheat - ask Pedro Mendes - and if he hadn't gone down like a sack of shite, he'd have got his penalty. Tough fucking shit, you CUNT. It wasn't that outrage when Scott Parker scored a perfectly good goal in Alkmaar was it? Cock right off ITV. The gutted faces of the Nottingham No-marks, Dawson and Jenas at the end. They thought they could beat Sevilla with Stan and Ollie in the team? Ahahahahahahahahaha!

but a not given penalty hardly has the ability to change the game as much as an incorrectly given penalty It changes the game exactly the same, it's a penalty. If the ref doesnt see it it stays 0-0. arguably it might dishearten players or embolden the transgressors, but it hardly gives a clear advantage to one side or the other whereas an unjust penalty makes it 1-0, a clear advantage from a bad decision If it's 0-0 but should be 1-0, then the fouling team has the advantage - one from a bad decision!

Never going to happen anyway, it's an unworkable situation. I would say there are more "not-given" penalties when there's a good case than there are incorrectly given ones.

Wouldn't have been a video replay decision anyway. You'd have to stop the game for everything in that case. no, only for penalties and red cards What, not for the ball crossing/not crossing the line? You can't stop the game and go to a fourth official everytime someone goes down in the box or appeals for holding on a corner. I'm for video replays for incidents where it's not clear if the ball is in or not, but anything else would be impractical. not penalty appeals but penalty decisions. and of course crossing the line What's the difference between them? If someone appeals for a handball or a shirt tug unseen by the ref, does he have to go to his video man? Penalties are often subjective anyway, one person's penalty is another person's dive. It needs to be a concrete decision for any video evidence to be brought in. think you'll find FIFA have a rather more concrete definition to go by That's absolute shit tbh. did you even see this (non) penalty? Yeah, I've seen it, wasn't a penalty. I'm not talking about this one incident, I'm talking about incidents that two people can have totally different views on, depending on your definition of contact and intent (particularly with handballs). so you are happy to abide by the (one man) ref's opinion there on the day, but you would not accept the decision of a (one man) ref's opinion after reviewing an incident behind a tv screen? Why is the one behind the screen's opinion any more valid than the one on the field? It's often subjective, the ref on the field might see it afterwards, after his decision has been overruled, and still be 100% convinced he was correct. Unworkable.

If one team appeals, the ref needs to make a decision... yes, and you look at the video if the ref rules it is a pen no point looking at appeals, the appeals would just get more and more frequent So stonewall penalties not given by the ref are not given at all? Don't you see the flaw in this at all?
