If the Gooch kicks him in the air, he'll end up on Strawberry Place.

Bit off topic, though perhaps not now we have the Gooch, but I hate the way Americans pronounce Newcastle. Always hear it at the Arena when they're shouting the name of the city to get a cheer. Last night it was Rihanna then the Pussycat Dolls doing it. CRINGE.

Duff's not British tbh. I'll point it out before someone else does, I'd say he is British in footballing terms though. Charles N'Zogbia better hurry his arse back, that's all I can say.

I only saw the first half and the last 15 minutes, but what I saw was Eriksson-tastic, so incredibly dull. Wright Phillips was woeful, his game seems to be about pace and little else. I can't believe so many people criticise Milner when this bloke (£17m was it?) could play all night and not put a decent cross in. The amount of times he would face up to the full-back and just do nothing with it (reminded me hugely of Duff this season actually) was incredible, and every time I thought "Milner would step over that twice, leave the defender on his arse and get the ball in". Never seen the fuss over Carrick either, very average looking player. Decent passer, not much else. Lampard as well, fucking hell, as if he's still getting a game.

I don't think anyone could have predicted how bad Duff has been for NUFC. However, we knew about this last month, and someone wants their arse kicking if there is any truth in a £7m bid from Spurs being rejected. I've given up on Luque, like most, due to a number of circumstances. No-one is blameless for the Luque situation, neither the player nor the club, but I still think he's shown as much as Duff, who gets away with it for the time being because we've seen how good he was and because he doesn't immediately suffer from being accused of "lazy foreigner" syndrome.

Yeah me too.

Nowhere to be found. Reckon they've been round to Baltic Quays, braying on his door? Probably got sent away with more than a flea in their ear if Emre came out to see what commotion the blacks were causing. They'd need Peasepud to hold him back. I'll be fucking mega pissed off if he gets suspended like.

He's talking shit anyway. Shearer's whole point on MOTD, iirc, was how well Ballack was playing but the Chelsea fans hadn't taken to him because he does stroll around a bit.

Good post, especially points two and three, I do like Kamara though. My biggest hate is anything that Bolton do, basically. Music after goals, cheerleaders, foam hands, big flag man, any of that shite and you should be relegated. The Premiership should be made up of real football clubs, not a fucking circus that happens to feature a football match.

"Terrace Legends" Cringeworthy Wankers.

King's a good defender, up there with Terry and Ferdinand, but he's still not as good as Woodgate. He's the best, quite simply. King was rubbish at SJP this season like, but I know that's not his normal level of performance. Always been more impressed by him for England than John Terry certainly. As for Michael Dawson being better than Woodgate, you can't say anything about that other than worry about the poster's mental health. It's a comparison akin to comparing Shola Ameobi to Thierry Henry, and I say that without hyperbole. Gotta love the amount of thick twats on there using one of the football forum's worst arguments - "if he's that good, why is he not in the England squad/he's in the England squad, must be good". You know you're on thin ice when you're using the judgement of Steve McClaren to back your point up.

James Milner most in form and productive English winger this season?
Wullie replied to Gallowgate End's topic in Football
Thanks for this gem. Gonna report back to GG first thing tomorrow morning Is that Chris Waddle who was playing for Tow Law and working in a sausage factory until he was 20, by which time James Milner was playing regular Premiership football? Stop making a tit of yourself. oh so he was only comparing them by what they've acheived at a young age . I think its you making a tit out of yourself trying to justify he's ridiculous statement. He's? What the f*** are you talking about? It's no more ridiculous than saying of a kid playing for Tow Law - "He'll be one of the best players in Europe within ten years". sorry was meant to say his ridiculous statement (waddle wonderland statement about milner im refering to). Put it this way, if the roles were reversed and someone on gg said that about one of our players, there would be a 3 page thread about it right now. Comparing Milner to Waddle is like comparing champaign to piss. Spectacularly missed the point again. Well done sir. -
That report is brilliant Paully - "A hoof in the plums would be my resort". Quality stuff mate. I used to buy both tf and the Mag, but I never bother now. I find that whichever way the result goes, they're out-of-date by the time you sit down and read them.

How can anyone say Robert played in a more successful side when the side Ginola played in was inches away from winning the league?
-
5th best right back in the last decade, name me 5 more right backs who've played more in Europe etc. Not an England international though, so loses points for that.

Good report. Glad he put in the bit about Carr getting skinned, as I've mentioned elsewhere. Dioup megged him and went round him so easily, long before Carr got pushed out the way like a bit of paper.

you think thats bad but did you have the dis -pleasure of watching and listening to john motsons wank fest about john terry coming back from injury ,to an outsider it was simply embarrasing to listen too as if he was the savior of all things chelski. Horrendous wasn't it?

I think he's had a reasonbly good game, but people are jumping on that one moment of poor composure that forced him into a foul that, had distance to goal been shorter, may have been viewed as denial of goal scoring opportunity and a send-off. Pretty typical - a solid game for 89 minutes and one or two frightening moments. typical bramble, fairly decent match with two moments of madness. simply can't afford to have someone in the team who makes huge errors in every match, regardless of how well their general play is. Exactly. Indigo, you make yourself look a bit daft defending him constantly imo. "Meaningless free kick" - If he doesn't foul Helguson, he's 1 on 1 with Harper having given the ball away. It's hardly an isolated incident from the useless twat either. Sorry, but no. What's daft is the sad sad sad need of nearly everyone on here to jump on the bandwagon and scapegoat particular players if things go wrong, regardless of whether or not it was anything at all to do with them. NOTHING that Bramble did today lead to us losing that game, we lost because of a stupid backpass from Nicky Butt and because Carr got raped all game and that's it. Sorry if that doesn't fit with what people want to believe but that's the truth. You lot can believe it or not, frankly I could give a shit really. You know what, I hope they do get rid of Bramble, because when we continue to be disorganised at the back, I'll have the satisfaction of knowing that I was right and you lot were clueless!! Anyway, bollocks to this, I'm off to watch the end of the rugby, see you later. No hard feelings? Whey, let's be hypocrites, shall we? First talking about Bramble bandwaggoning and how wrong that is, then you're straight on to the hate Carr-bandwagon You're just annoyed because your "hate our player of the season" bandwagon hasn't got any wheels on it.

"it's not knee-jerk, we've been saying he's shit for years like" Correct. Thanks for saving me the trouble.

Am I the only one who is absolutely sick to death of hearing about him? First it was the saga of Chelsea wanting action taken against Hunt for what was a complete accident (Hunt would have been fully within his rights to take legal action for some of the comments Chelsea made about him btw), then the Chelsea fans started sending death threats to him and the lad that clattered Cudicini. Mourinho has brought it up every fucking week since it happened post-match, in the papers every day about his progress as if he was learning to walk again, then he's back (wasn't he supposed to be out until the end of the season? more mountain out of a molehill stuff from Chelsea) and, wow, he's wearing protective headgear, like he's the first player who's ever done that, then to cap it all off, he makes two routine saves from Amdy fucking Faye, who would have buried them both easily if he wasn't utter shite and it's all MOTD bang on about, even giving it the final comment of the night and putting it over the credits. You'd think he'd had cancer or lost a leg rather than sustained what was, fair enough, a bad injury that's kept him out for, what, 3 months. Chelsea have raised the bar when it comes to milking an injury, they've nearly been as bad with fucking Terry, who's missed about ten games with a back injury and you'd think he'd shattered his spine. God help us if one of them actually does get a Michael Owen/Jimmy Bullard type injury, I imagine we'll have to have a minutes' silence for them before the match.

Dioup skinned him before pushing him out the way, he's atrocious.
