God, not the "poor crosser" again. The reason Milner puts in poor balls every now and then is because of the amount of crosses he puts in. Why don't people say Duff can't cross? Answer - because he doesn't even bother fucking trying. Milner's a victim of the way he can rape a full back for fun and always get the ball across. Occasionally one goes out or gets cleared - big fucking deal.

Played well tonight I thought. Him and Nobby ran the show in the first half down the right.

Someone said it's not happening apparently.

Very true. Don't expect many to believe it though. Ok, well there's already at least two threads talking about Craig Bellamy and his relevance to NUFC, so his "very very relevant point" can't be anything to do with that despite the title, if it is, then the thread is nailed on to be locked anyway. I'd LOVE you to explain what a Travelodge in Newcastle City Centre has to do with NUFC or how it shows "how far NUFC have slumped", especially if you can do it without admitting mismanagement at board level in the process. Still, have a go though. I could do with a laugh. It would be more accurate to say you and the other mods are ignoring a thread that is being spoiled by certain individuals posting personal nonsense, they're getting with it probably because you agree with their football POV (whatever the hell that is, like). No doubt you'd be moaning and jumping on my case yet again if I was posting the personal tripe your mates are posting. If you don't get the point in CG's post and need someone to explain it to you then you need help to think "outside the box", but I certainly can't be arsed. Ask one of the boys spoiling the other thread to help you out. Didn't think you could.

 That really tickled me. I wouldn't hold out much hope for humanity in that situation.

The reason it was locked is it absolutely nothing to do with Newcastle United, or football, in the slightest. I'll move it to General Chat and reopen it if you like.

Ne5 isn't registered on toontastic Dave, just here and howaythetoon. Shame people still think we are better off losing at home to Birmingham than winning in the Nou Camp though. Are you implying that we'd not have lost 5-1 against Birmingham had Bellamy been in the team then? Exactly. Just like Liverpool wouldn't have been bum-raped by Arsenal reserves in the Carling Cup if Bellamy had played. What? He did? Oh.

We're better off winning at home against a Liverpool side undone by some dreadful Bellamy finishing than losing AS a Liverpool side undone by some dreadful Bellamy finishing though.

Super sweeper keeper tbh. Oba thinks so too.

You can only select one in your poll. Fixed.

I was once like you, giving it the soopafan bollocks. However, I, like you, was, in the main, talking shit. I remember those days, Willie! In fact I remember a thread very similar to this one. Had a big argument with Renton iirc. What a tit (me that is, not the Hobbes-meister)!

Wish he'd bloody crock himself, I'm sick of him. Every now and then he'll disappear from the Boro side and I'll ask my mate what's wrong with him - "oh hamstring strain", cue me saying "ah well, nice while it lasted" then lo and behold, he's back in the fucking team next game. Even when he sent me a message saying "Woodgate's done his thigh, looks like a bad one", he was only out for one frigging game. Bastard. Without Woodgate and Viduka, Boro are relegation material. Either playing against us is a bad thing.

honestly forgot about him. Ill add him if you really want me to. Not really. I was just making the point that a player can not play particularly well, or score a lot of cup goals, and then stats can be made to look good. An interesting question would be how many important goals have players scored, particularly in the league. I can't be arsed to work it out like. I think i should add him tbh. Sibierski manages to find the net on a regular basis no matter who the opposition is. I could understand if most of he's goals were in a lesser competition like the carling cup but scoring goals in Europe is not an easy task. I think it's the easiest of all the competitions to score in, the competition is atrocious, plus you play a vast amount more games than other cups. Feel free to add him though, goal-wise he's done a bloody good job for us with zero expectation.

Why have you not included Sibierski? His record compares favourably to every single one of them.

That's fucking hilarous. Fantastic for us not to be the ones enveloped in such shit for a change. EDIT: apart from the big racism thing. Obviously.

Any "entertainment" at football is to be frowned at as far as I'm concerned. Get to your seat 5 minutes before kick off, watch the first half, go and watch the goals on the screen at half time, watch the second half, f*** off. That's my routine at SJP and that's pretty much how it should be. I don't want cheerleaders or fireworks or Janet Jackson getting her tit out. The entertainment comes from what you go and pay to watch, not some school kids pretending they can dance in the centre circle to 'Is This The Way To Amarillo'. To be honest, for the likes of me fatha who never has a half time pint, the half time hero is a good idea. I always go inside for a pint. Aye I don't mind that. At least it's football and NUFC related. CaliMag, you cheeky bastard!

Yeah I get it. The biggest problem I have is people who pretend to support the club, but actually don't really give a toss. Most of the people on this message board are sound in that respect - they wouldn't be here if they didn't have a genuine and prolonged interest. There's two people, one who I used to go to school with and who lived with my best mate last year and another who lives with another very good friend of mine, who I have a very big problem with and Newcastle United coming up in conversation with them just riles me. They're the type of people who you can be talking to and they'll say "what you doing tonight?" "oh I'm going to the match" and they'll say "oh right, are we playing?". Are we playing ffs? The latter is really well off too, he's a student from Cheshire and lives in a house in Heaton that he owns through a huge inheritance, and the rent from the other students pays the mortgage. He's got two mega flash cars and could so easily afford to go to the match every single week, home and away, but I've never known him to go at all. They try and talk to me about players and matches and I just don't even listen, I just think "you haven't got a fucking clue what you're talking about". I've got no problem with someone who doesn't support us, people can do what they like, but those who pretend to really piss me off.

Pools lead at Torquay, looking to go 16 unbeaten.

Pathetic. If I wanted all that shite, I'd go and watch Bolton.
