  1. There's no justice. Why is it never players like this who get crippling injuries?
  2. Don't bother, I'm not speaking to the person responsible for our league and financial position - that's you by the way.
  3. you were told this when you backed your man Souness to spend lorryfuls of cash and get rid of the "cancer". Glad to see you are now realising what a balls up of a judgement you made. I agree NE5. You tell him.
  4. Yes our money. Unlike buying goods from the supermarkerts, most fans don't just buy tickets to watch the game, they fork out the money because they see it as an investment towards the club so that the club will have the finances to do well and improve. That's the only way to explain why people keep on buying tickets despite the extortionist prices, its definitely not for the entertainment value! Similarly reason why fans buy tops from the club shop when they can get the exact same product from normal sports stores for 10-15 quid cheaper. Paying OUR money towards NUFC is not just like buying a packet of condoms! your choice is simple. If you aren't happy, don't pay them your money. Like 30,000 others did when they weren't interested for years, when we sold our trophy players and replaced them with players from Oxford etc Which, as things stand, is exactly what is going to happen again because of the chairman YOU backed. I believe that makes it YOUR fault, doesn't it?

  6. But by doing this are you not ignoring the fact that Shepherd/the board are the ones who have put us in this catch-22 situation by hiring two hopeless managers and backing them with funds? If none of us know the best way to solve the problem, that's not necessarily our doing, more a reflection of the dire situation we find ourselves in as a direct result of mismanagement. I certainly wouldn't do the usual NUFC thing of pissing big money away on players who might not even come good, more look to bringing cheap, possibly older players, just to keep our heads above water until the end of the season when we can take a look and see how we can change things. At least we know in the summer we'll have a world class striker to come back (please God), so just getting to that point with our Premiership status still intact will be a start. We have some good players, although they're not doing it at present, and in the meantime, a change of management would be nice to start getting better out of them, cos this hopeless frigger has no chance.
  7. There have been some incredible fuckwits on the Legends tonight, not least Macdonald, spineless cunt. Wish we had someone who tells it like it is - eg Eric Gates.
  8. It'll take more than a few decent players to put this mess right.
  9. I can't believe he's started referring to himself in the third person. Is he trying to cement himself as even more of a twat than he already has? Glenn Roeder needs to fuck off.
  10. This is definitely the footballing issue of the moment that's been keeping me awake at night. unsure.gif
  11. You can have Duff for a bag of wine gums. I'll drive him.

    Mick Lowes

Hypothetically, I'm still prepared to give Luque a chance personally, after all that's been said and done, he's still only started something like 11 games, and has a reasonable goal record in those. I'm also hanging on to the fact that he was excellent in Spain and has not shown us all he can. However, while I think he'd come good in a set-up like Arsenal's or Liverpool's, where he can perform gradually without so much pressure on him (Kuyt, Baptista, Hleb, Rosicky all looking good from this method of doing things unlike the fucking shambles this place is), he is definitely not the player we need in a relegation scrap right now. His time here is up in all honesty. Pity none of our other players look ready for the battle at the bottom either like.

Mick Lowes supported Souness to the very last, the bloke is as thick as pigshit.
  14. Aye, there's a world of difference between Michael Owen "doing nothing but scoring" and Albert Luque "doing nothing but scoring". Wullie's not daft though, so I suspect he knew this when he was trying to make the argument. bluebigrazz.gif I thought Luque's hold up play and link up play was as good as it was going to get in the circumstances, with very little help from central midfield. We both know there's a huge difference between Owen and Luque, but my point was just that you never ever see Michael Owen have a poor game, get one chance, score the winner and then have everyone say "well yeah we've won, but fucking hell he was shit".
  15. Except Parker got glandular fever shortly after Souness left. Are we saying our upturn in form was not because one of the worst managers in the history of the Premiership left, but because one midfielder got injured? Fucking hell.
  16. The trouble with that is, whatever happens someone will take the piss. Oh well.
  17. Imagination running riot, I see. That's good really, didn't think you had one, tbh. Hiyaaaaaa. You alright?
  18. It's not even like we won convincingly ffs. Parker gets dropped because Krul has made 3 wonder saves and we've cleared 2 chances off the line. Good plan.
  19. Yeah. Except that's bollocks isn't it? Glad we cleared that up.
