  1. I was considering joining but he's saved me a quid there. Is and always will be a total wanker.

  3. Perez news is perfect timing as far as this is concerned.
  4. Wouldn't be surprised if a not-insignificant chunk of that £30m is dependent on Spanish caps and European qualification.
  5. We only agree to take instalments anyway so this year we'll have probably £6m of it.
  6. Didn't go to Leicester though did it? Would you go to Leicester in a helicopter? Oof

This offsides business is absolutely wank. No advantage gained whatsoever. If it’s offside, it’s offside, should there be an advantage? Would be like goal line technology just deciding it’s a goal if 90% of the ball crosses the line. The whole of the ball over the whole of the line. Offside should be the same. That’s not the law though. You're comparing chalk and cheese anyway. Not really? Offside law was used correctly. Can’t just ignore it if it’s ‘marginal’ the same way you couldn’t just give a goal if the vast majority of the ball was in. Sometimes these incidents can be both onside and offside when the limbs of several players are moving at once, depending on which frame is chosen. It really is total nonsense. I know you've stuck your flag passionately in the VAR camp but I firmly believe at this point anyone who says that the system as it stands is a benefit and is improving football as a spectacle is being deliberately dishonest out of stubbornness.

This match syncs up perfectly with my footballing world view. Blame the mackem and the VAR.

  11. Eh? Isn't the season ticket deadline approaching?
  12. Another fucking walkout.
  13. He's off to China, the guy that did the interview with him has said it. The guy, you mean Caulkin? Yes. Ok, so the article where there is not one quote from Rafa saying he is going to China, just Caulkins sub-heading.
  14. I must admit, I get properly 'triggered' by this phrase. a) he's a multi millionaire, his kids are already in that position, and their kids b) is that what all rich people want for their children, not to ever work and just sit round all day spending money they didn't earn? Seems a weird point of view for a guy like Benitez who loves work so much.
  15. He used to prioritise a English job because he said that him working on the continent had been very hard on his family in the Wirral. Seems odd therefore to decide to get a one bedroom flat in some random Chinese city. I'm disappointed in any notable European football figure going to China, doesn't take long for most of them to realise that it's pretty unfulfilling, football in a half empty stadium that nobody's interested in. Yeah yeah, I get it, they get paid a lot of money, because the mugs who settle for Juventus are going short. That's sod all to do with him leaving NUFC btw. He's 100% right to tell those cunts to fuck off and it amazes me he didn't do it earlier.
  16. China's a bizarre decision if there's truth in it, goes against almost everything I thought I knew about Benitez. He cares a lot about football and nobody out there gives the slightest stuff. I think he'll regret it within weeks and be back in Europe within months.
  17. I'll ring Watchdog and see if they fancy featuring the club on Rogue Traders.
  18. He was joking ffs Just flies over the head of some unfortunately.
  19. Nobody[/member] Why on Earth is there an Allsvenskan game today with an 11pm kick off?
  20. Barry Glendenning fairly scathing about our fans on Football Weekly.
