Never happened. I'm glad we were able to clear things up though.

There weren't any. I checked. It's my job.

I'm not upset, it's nothing more than your interpretation. I'm highlighting it because nowadays it seems that every time someone expresses an opinion that's that doesn't 'fit in', people get slagged off by those certain sections of the forum. Pathetic, childish and petty. Not to mention cowardly (as people relay on each other for back up knowing that support is not too far away for them). I remember before we played Man City at SJP (0-2 Yaya brace), most people on here were very confident about us getting a result and there was a feeling in the air of almost arrogance about it. After the match, I expressed my opinion that was along the lines that Pardew's tactics were too cautious and that we should have done better by playing a more attacking game. Needless to say, the majority of the usual members jumped on me stating things among the lines "it's Man City, man", "they're champions", blah blah blah, etc. Clearly, the following season, which we then knew more about Pardew, showed that I was well and truly right in criticising him (irrelevant how good a season we had - something which most people clearly were blinded by!). It was that day that I thought the majority of fuckers on here are nothing more than conformists who adopt the same opinion as the 'popular' members on here for one reason or another - mainly because they're ball-less to express an opinion that might 'stand out'. And it's not an anonymous forum for many, I've been here, and around previous NUFC boards, for nearly two decades now - hardly something that's not important when it comes to the online experience. Anyway, am I not invited to the barbeque or what? You made only two post match posts and got two replies. This is your entire exchange after that match: How can you be bitter? When we pushed men forward they counter-attacked us to death. If we had done that from the beginning then we would have been f***ed. It was an excellent game plan but the execution was just short. If we had held out for five more minutes, they would have had to push up and who knows what could happen. We certainly weren't going to beat them going head on. Did you watch them dominate against Man Utd? No, I didn't want us to go gun-ho and attack them from the off. But I felt we could have found a better balance between containment and attack. (i,e, against Man Utd) Anyway, it's not as if Man City aren't good at winning tight games. Just a bit disappointed in our approach to the game, we proved all season that we can spring a surprise or two. Don't think our players looked that comfortable out there playing cautiously for that long. City are brutal though. Aguero, Tevez and Nasri can slice teams apart. You have to keep in mind that Manchester United could offer nothing against them earlier this week. We have over-achieved all season and whilst we have a lot of heart (probably more than any of the top five teams), playing against world class players is never going to be easy. You've been carrying that chip round on your shoulder for six years.

Augsburg's a fucking hilarious choice of home showpiece friendly like. Used to invite Barcelona, Valencia, Juventus, Bayern. Now it's Vitesse, Verona and fucking Augsburg.

From messing around with it, I don't think it works.

I'm sure he retires about 3 times a season. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/44940691 More colleagues to have a whip round for the fucker.

As I've just said, it does not go against your credit report because there is no credit agreement.
-
It's not a credit agreement so you can cancel the DD any time you like without repercussions.

Heard it all before. Hardly anyone will walk away if Rafa goes and those that do will see their seats filled very quickly.

Aberdeen wanted to keep Adam Rooney and he's chosen Salford City instead.

I guess when you're that rich (and as obscenely greedy as he is) it's all about your assets and how much they're worth rather than immediate cash flow like the rest of us.

Just because the money's not in his wallet doesn't mean there's no monetary benefit. He owns the club in its entirety and Sky etc have just given him/the club (since they are essentially one and the same) £100m+ and they'll do the same next summer. It's all increasing the value of his company.

Subasic might as well have taken his crutches onto the field with him in the final. Not testing him more from distance was a big mistake by England.

Sorry my post was in response to triggs but I disagree that England's malaise over the last ten years was anything to do with club conflicts, that had absolutely nothing to do with the 0-0 draw with Algeria in 2010, or the defeat to Iceland, or finishing bottom of the group in 2014. The management of the England team at tournaments since Eriksson left hasn't just been poor, it's been absolutely atrocious. Southgate deserves immense credit for things like making the camp a happy one. I can't remember any previous tournament where it wasn't reported that the England players were feeling totally miserable and didn't really want to be there. These things affect results.

Completely misses the point that England have been consistently losing to or making extremely hard work of shite teams in tournaments since 2006. Not doing so is significant progress, as is winning a shootout, as is winning a knockout game comfortably, something we've not done since 2002 against Denmark.

I think that's harsh on France. They're only the second team (the other being Brazil 2002) since Argentina in 1986, before which it was a different format, to win the four knockout stage games without needing extra time, they've not had it easy either, Argentina, Uruguay, Belgium was a tough route to the final but they've absolutely breezed it. They started very slowly but many winners have. They're an excellent side and deserved winners. -
Off the top of my head Croatia scored 14 but Belgium scored 16.

No he wouldn’t Turns out this is wrong incidentally, otherwise that twat Cheryshev would have wormed his way into third place and made my sweep a hassle. Goes straight to assists followed by minutes per goal, penalties make no difference. -
Winners should all have their money in their Paypal now.

I'll enjoy it when it comes round of course but a return to the financial dick-waving competition that is club football currently fills me with dread compared to the pure football of the World Cup. -
