  1. Chased my losses tonight on Juventus to score before 70 minutes after 55. Higuain after 69... phew.
  2. Doesn't seem like UK customers have that. Irritating.

    Football pet hates

The opposite has long since been true, barely an eyebrow is raised anymore at yet another preposterous Messi dribble and finish.
  4. Nice work, Shrewsbury's price was crazy like.

    RIP Freddy Shepherd

In a nutshell. Sad news. Incidentally, your signature is by far and away his crowning NUFC moment.
  6. Was an entire weekend when iirc, five accys went down by a missed pen, two went down with two missed pens in different games. Much better this weekend, only the two have been finished by a missed penalty that I know of. Feyenoord last night, Atalanta tonight. Combined total of about £90, I only bet on goals so I literally just need the penalty to go in. Hopeless cunts. EDIT: Alatanta just scored thirty seconds after I posted this, 90+4. I'd forgotten that always happens when I post slagging a team off, must do it more often.
  7. Interesting one, they're owned by Leicester's owners. It'll take him all his time to work out where to try and finish to take advantage of Belgium's preposterous league structure.
  8. Becoming fairly obvious that being in Messi's shadow has been even better for Neymar than was obvious on the field. Being somewhere he's quite clearly, indisputably second best has held him back from being a petulant little tosser for years, he could hardly try and pull rank with Messi like he can there.
  9. Reminds me of Shak's quarterback thread.
  10. Zaza completes an 8 minute hat trick for Valencia against Malaga.

    Absolutely love Eddie Howe's head.
  12. Because no referee is going to admit to not having seen a passage of play like a player running on goal (and tbf, why wouldn't he be looking at that?). That's why bad tackles are also never dealt with retrospectively. It's all to do with whether the ref saw the incident or not.
  13. Depends how you define "loads" I suppose. 5 of 18 playing tonight and 5 of 18 last night. Sevilla are decent, man I know, I just mean it's not much to shout about. They've only played 4 competitive games since that Madrid game.
  14. Aren't there loads of clubs whose last defeat was in, or even before, May?
  15. Think both are from that run under Pardew just after he cried at Stoke.
  16. Tim Vickery makes an interesting point that although stopping the clock may stop the actual wasting of time, it will encourage the main problem with time wasting which is stopping the flow of the game. Players don't just lie down and pretend to be injured, or lie on the ball for an age after catching it in a keeper's case, to run down the clock, they do it to cut out any momentum the opposition may have. Knowing they're not going to be punished because "time wasting" no longer exists will give carte blanche to do this even more.
  17. Agree with Sewelly. The Mane red card yesterday encapsulates the subjectivity of so many decisions in football. It's a nice idea in theory but in practice I don't think it's going to improve things, and will annoy everyone far too much.
  18. The billionaire equivalent of threatening to bare his fat arse in Fenwick's window.
  19. It's not really about England, it's very interesting.
  20. It's over a dive supposedly, though him playing for RBL doesn't help.
  21. Does anyone have access to The Times that can share this article? https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/why-friendlies-are-hurting-englands-world-cup-hopes-d7rt5gdzw Heard it mentioned as being interesting on a couple of podcasts.
