  1. Interesting one, they're owned by Leicester's owners. It'll take him all his time to work out where to try and finish to take advantage of Belgium's preposterous league structure.
  2. Becoming fairly obvious that being in Messi's shadow has been even better for Neymar than was obvious on the field. Being somewhere he's quite clearly, indisputably second best has held him back from being a petulant little tosser for years, he could hardly try and pull rank with Messi like he can there.
  3. Reminds me of Shak's quarterback thread.
  4. Zaza completes an 8 minute hat trick for Valencia against Malaga.

    Absolutely love Eddie Howe's head.
  6. Because no referee is going to admit to not having seen a passage of play like a player running on goal (and tbf, why wouldn't he be looking at that?). That's why bad tackles are also never dealt with retrospectively. It's all to do with whether the ref saw the incident or not.
  7. Depends how you define "loads" I suppose. 5 of 18 playing tonight and 5 of 18 last night. Sevilla are decent, man I know, I just mean it's not much to shout about. They've only played 4 competitive games since that Madrid game.
  8. Aren't there loads of clubs whose last defeat was in, or even before, May?
  9. Think both are from that run under Pardew just after he cried at Stoke.
  10. Tim Vickery makes an interesting point that although stopping the clock may stop the actual wasting of time, it will encourage the main problem with time wasting which is stopping the flow of the game. Players don't just lie down and pretend to be injured, or lie on the ball for an age after catching it in a keeper's case, to run down the clock, they do it to cut out any momentum the opposition may have. Knowing they're not going to be punished because "time wasting" no longer exists will give carte blanche to do this even more.
  11. Agree with Sewelly. The Mane red card yesterday encapsulates the subjectivity of so many decisions in football. It's a nice idea in theory but in practice I don't think it's going to improve things, and will annoy everyone far too much.
  12. The billionaire equivalent of threatening to bare his fat arse in Fenwick's window.
  13. It's not really about England, it's very interesting.
  14. It's over a dive supposedly, though him playing for RBL doesn't help.
  15. Does anyone have access to The Times that can share this article? https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/why-friendlies-are-hurting-englands-world-cup-hopes-d7rt5gdzw Heard it mentioned as being interesting on a couple of podcasts.

  18. Olivier Bernard wasn't a mercenary? He acted like a twat to try and force a move twice, he even took the club to tribunal to try and sign for West Ham. http://origin-www.whufc.com/articles/20020701/olivier-bernard_2236884_1141391
  19. I refer you to my previous answer [emoji854] I've seen it, it's utter bollocks. I can't believe anyone would try and claim they were ahead of the curve and cite Keegan resigning as the moment. 'I knew that Al Qaeda were trouble, I tried to tell you all!' 'When did you realise?' '9/11'
  20. Eh, so how are you any different to the people you were just having a go at for wanting him out? Only difference is i saw through Ashley quicker . Quicker than who? When did you 'see through him'? As soon as Sir Kev resigned . I left and my seat in theLeazes was left empty for the rest of that season . I didnt even bother selling it on was so disillusioned . Right. So you 'saw through him' at the same time as most other people did then. You sage.
