  1. Messi was woeful, aside from tapping in a cross. Nah I don't agree, he played many excellent passes behind the defence only for the players on the end to waste them. Suarez might as well not have been on the pitch at all.
  2. Suarez has been absolutely diabolical and Neymar not much better.
  3. Barca should be out of sight already.
  4. Losing to the last touch of the game against Everton hasn't helped too. It hasn't but we'd actually be above Norwich if we'd just taken the 2-2.
  5. We'd be sitting (relatively) pretty if we hadn't been so utterly stupid and conceded that Olsson goal at Carrow Road.
  6. Nigel Pearson would have won 5-0.
  7. Now FFS don't concede right on half time yet again.
  8. Asking Klopp if his half time team talk "only included one word: Istanbul" What a fucking cringe.
  9. Re: Barcelona, this is the longest I've ever known VI be absent for.
  10. Pardew really is a disgusting piece of shit.
  11. To be honest, I find an assertion that Pele and/or Maradona were definitely better than Messi and/or Ronaldo more laughable than the other way round.
  12. He knows it'll bring no such thing.
  13. That is absolutely amazing. I've seen most of the clips before but the article is great, and that vine where he's in the car

Can't help but laugh at hundreds of mackems lining the streets to say goodbye to Sunderland's most famous person, that old woman what used to be an agony aunt on daytime telly.
  15. Luckily we've got as much plentiful cover at right back as we have at left back.
  16. They tend to do the voting for this ludicrously early so I fancy Vardy to win it ahead of Mahrez.

  18. This doesn't apply so much to Depay but for me, players like Wijnaldum and Anita are so used to their teams dominating games that they get totally unstuck when on the backfoot. PSV might have the odd hard game but mostly it'll be the opposition with 10 behind the ball. Now he's at NUFC it's 10 behind the ball when we attack Not excusing him for a pathetic 2nd half of the season but he clearly doesn't know how to adapt his game Said the same a few weeks ago. De Jong, Janmaat too, players at those clubs probably play 2-3 games a season (when PSV, Ajax and Feyenoord play each other) where they don't have the ball for 65% of the match. Mbemba and Mitrovic exactly the same in Belgium. Hoying them en masse into a team that's expected to struggle is asking for trouble. As you say, not an excuse as such but an example of the lack of thought that goes into the transfer policy.
