More excellent media recruitment getting a waste of space cunt like Jenas on board.

But he was fine and it wasnt a pen so I dont see the point. It was a pen. it wasn't. Aye, you're right as always mate.... Cheers. It was a pen, had that happened up the other end we'd all have been going mental for a pen. By the letter of the law it's quite clearly not a penalty like. There's very little room for ambiguity in the wording.

Suspect you could take a period of a match from every team in the Premier League and say they won't go down based on that. Sunderland themselves were 2-0 up against West Ham last time out before having a man sent off. They actually scored before the red, twice, they didn't just have a load of the ball and create nothing more than a couple of half chances.

I'm disappointed he's injured. What a bloody waste of a suspension.
-
One positive from today is that at least I felt something. Still fuming now.

Last kick of the game. Just as well seeing as I had it on as a big loss-chasing single.
-
I just Fiorentina to score for over £50. Roma always concede so obviously they're not going to away at the league leaders.
-
Elliott's more to blame than Coloccini for that situation. Really pitiful goalkeeping.

I completely agree, unfortunately, we thought buying Thauvin was a more pressing requirement. That said, I've no idea why he's getting stick today for doing what he'd no doubt been told to do by McClaren. McClaren told him not to have any positive impact on the game whatsoever? That's poor management imo.

Absolutely zero chance an appeal would win. Past evidence suggests the FA go by what the studio pundits say and Souness was all for it.

Since when was dominating one half of football and fluffing a few half chances enough to say we were definitely going to win the game? As half time approached, my overwhelming feeling was simply that we would pay for not scoring. They weren't going to just get battered for 90 minutes without creating a chance, it doesn't work like that, and recent history shows that they are usually clinical in this fixture.

You don't think that wrongly being down to 10 men and a goal down is a legitimate excuse? As s*** as Sunderland are, that's a substantial handicap. Even then, we were still playing all the football until they grabbed a fluky second. We went onto the field with a substantial handicap. It's called non-investment and failure to address the real issues facing the squad in favour of prioritising short-term profit. Do you think Sunderland are a well-run club by comparison like? I'm not disagreeing with you, but they are just as rudderless, inept and apathetic at the top as we are. It was a match between two laughably run football clubs, decided on a whim by an awful call. As much as I dislike Ashley, the club's business model and all the rest of it, it can't explain every single defeat or shit refereeing decision that comes our way. Six in a row is an incredible coincidence if there's not some underlying reason behind it.

Jack will be fucking buzzing that his boys have done it again.

He really wasn't. He played fine. He did fuck all and we had 60% possession while he was on the pitch. He covered Janmaat all half so he could push on, and I don't recall him losing possession. Didn't do anything wrong IMO. It's not a Premier League central midfielder's job "not to do anything wrong". He should be influencing the game, not just trying to get through 90 minutes without making a cock up. He is absolute trash.
-
Not booking Cattermole should see him demoted. He's had five chances to make a simple decision and bottled every single one.
-
Canny ridiculous to say it denied us a win seeing as we didn't score a goal. One of the 3-0s at home, all the excuses were about Cisse being ruled offside for a goal. Does no other team get a bad decision against sunderland, seeing as it's only us that they absolutely thrash consistently? Sick of hearing the excuses.
-
The other defeats have been bad, but this one was decided by that card. We were miles better before that apart from some poor shooting. Bet no other team who loses a man against them this season ends up losing by 3 goals.
-
I had a tenner on Cattermole and Colback to get booked. Never felt more robbed with a bet.
-
Mike Ashley's NUFC - forever their bitch.
-
Keepers have been the difference here. They've got one, we've just got a fat mess.
-
This should be one of those games where the referee simply isn't allowed to do our games from now on. Clattenburg wasn't allowed to do an Everton game for about five years after a clanger against Liverpool. Man Utd have had refs who Ferguson made sure just didn't do their games. We just lie down and take it.
-
Cattermole should have had about five yellows. Utterly embarrassing performance by this ref, whoever he is. Has he walked in off the fucking street?

Souness reckons it's a red. That cunt not had a massive heart attack yet?
