But say Pardew stayed for 5 more years and we won a cup whilst finishing bottom half. would that be celebrated or not!? It just doesnt make total sense to support a club you love but want them to loose. It means you cant be a true in the moment fan. Which fan thinks 5 years ahead! Its all well and good pretending you are liking bad results but deep down it must be hurting Aye that must be it.
-
This makes no sense, sorry. Why would everyone be moaning on here if they didn't want to support the team? They're hoping that poor results get rid of Pardew quicker, it's that simple. In any case, the club themselves said this result doesn't matter when they openly admitted they don't care about cups. So when does this end. When Pardew goes or when Ashley goes or when some people have set up a new club. what if Pardew stays for 5 fucking years god forbid. Will you hope we loose every game for 5 years? Where is the finish point? In the third or fourth tier in that scenario.

Ben Arfa starts.

They're right like, being poda is not entertainment.

Dan Gosling, goal machine.

So fuck. It's emotional stuff. The state of NUFC always dictates my mood so I can sympathise with MKSC. Resignation letters like this are pathetic man and give others more ammunition to laugh at us. It's scouse in the extreme. The club would be a much better one if our supporters demanded the extremely high standards that Liverpool fans do.

Even at 2-0 down at home at Hull City, the people in the ground didn't bother kicking up a fuss. Then they applauded the players off after a draw that left the club in the relegation zone. That says more about them than the people organising the protest. Oh sorry yes they supported their team and roared them on to a comeback didn't they? Weird like cos most of the people round me just sat and whinged to each other.

Being away from Pardew's training sessions for 6 months most likely. This is absolutely the reason imo.
-
Ben Arfa causing disruption in the group again I see. Happens everywhere he goes.
-
Good post mate, exactly how I feel.

Laughing at people striving for change is okay then I presume? Laughing at nobody. The organisation around the protest was fantastic and I had me flyer, just tired of reading constant griefing of the '50,000 idiots'. Very much this. To call someone and idiot because they happen to have a different viewpoint is extremely arrogant. Like I said earlier, genuine football fans are loyal to their club by default, to ask them to stop going, shout against their team and actually want the opposition to win goes against the grain....and besides, nobody likes being told what to do. I think it's going to take another home thrashing for it to turn nasty again, but I'm sure the next one isn't far away. This club, at this period of time, is literally the only time in the entire history of English football that this has happened. Any other club, at any other point in time, and Pardew is out of a job. There are teams that have been relegated and have kept their manager so I don't see that. Also how many clubs have sacked their manager 5 games after finishing 10th in the top flight? Not that I'm supporting the hopeless bastard, just playing devil's advocate. Spurs just sacked their manager for coming 6th. The previous one was sacked in 7th. The one before him was sacked after coming 4th.

He's right that Ashley's turned the club round financially, we're in far more debt and bring in much less commercial revenue than the previous owners. Giddy up.
-
Yet West Ham sacked him, describing him as a cancer.

People on Facebook as knowledgeable as ever:

You know how up here we hate Londoners and love Geordies? I'd just like to say for the record that I hope Chris Hughton goes round Steve Bruce's house on Hallowe'en, has a shit on his lawn and hoys a fucking brick through the fat cunt's window.
-
myself and John [Carver] looked at each other on Thursday, I think it was
-
Anyone who would even contemplate Steve Bruce in charge wants a fucking slap as well. It was like watching a Pardew masterclass the way his team shrank when they had a lead.
-
Anyone thinking he's going to sack this off for Rangers is living in the fucking clouds.
-
It's not even "support" though, that's the worst thing. The type of wankers who shout "support the team" are the same ones that sit quietly through the game and whinge to their mates that it's shite.
-
Sure I saw them draw 2-2 with Hull City the other night too. I'm also sure I saw Liverpool get beat off Villa last week as well, someone else who didn't beat us. Our form recently from back end of last year til now. Some perspective would be L L L L L L W L L D D L D Suppose that's a canny run in your book? One win against a relegated Cardiff City? Did you not hear it was a canny game with a decent atmosphere? Cunts like you are never happy.
-
Imagine watching that against Hull City and being happy with it. What the fuck have we become?
-
The difference between today and Cardiff was astonishing, especially given that we were 1-0 up then, yet at 2-0 down today, there was still nothing against the manager. Shows how many passionate supporters jacked it in during the summer to be replaced by people who are just happy to be there.
