  1. Makes me laugh seeing people moan about his formation, like changing that would make the slightest difference at this point. The whole thing is irreparably broken.
  2. Depends what you mean by 'choice'. Would I pick him in an ideal world? Would I f***, but i'd take him ahead of others from the pool we're likely to pick from. I also think we need someone who's going to keep us up, and I think he would. I just don't understand why anybody thinks that's the pool we'd pick from. Pardew was selected purely and simply because he has no spine and will do anything to please Mike. It's f*** all to do with his nationality. Tony Pulis, who resigned from Palace in a row over transfers, who sued Gillingham after being sacked, who was sacked by Stoke first time round after a big row with the chairman? Apart from Kevin Keegan, there's literally nobody less likely in world football to be offered the job, and nobody less likely to accept it. well, when you put it like that..... well we havent appointed foreign under ashley yet, what thinks we will now? We weren't buying solely from the continent back when Pardew was appointed either. There's been a big chance in policy since then. If Graham Carr has as much say as he's supposed to, I could very much see us looking to Europe - managers more used to these types of players, used to having their players bought and sold for them, used to bigger clubs pinching their players. Frank de Boer actually ticks every box as far as that goes, Ajax are one of the biggest selling clubs in Europe. theres got to be a salary issue as far as de boer is concerned though, surely? Difficult to say, though I can't imagine an Eredivisie salary is that high, even for the biggest club. It's weird the wages issue like, can't really get my head round his thinking. It's not as simple as "he wants cheap" because all the players are on far more anyway. All to do with trying to balance a long contract against a big pay off.
  3. Me too. Dortmund, Basel and effing Wolves Exactly the same.
  4. Really annoyed with myself, was very confident Basel would win at 3-1 but just stuck it in an accy. Fucking Wolves.
  5. Pardew will be wanking himself off live on Sky over Jonjo Shelvey. He gave him his debut after all. Was everyone aware of that btw? Just in case anyone thought he was a shit cunt.
  6. Said it during the game. There was a gaping hole every time Tiote left it as if like Colback doesn't understand the basic of covering. If Tiote went forward he would follow suit and go play right wing or something. Was ridiculous. Honestly Nzonzi had the easiest game of his life. He was literally walking around at times Nzonzi. Was almost as if he was thinking about what to do after the game. The last derby game was preposterous. Ki had his fucking pyjamas on as he strolled around our midfield.
  7. It's not Taylor and Besty like, it's those dolts that they've started promoting just because one of them writes for TF sometimes. TF's editorial line couldn't be much more anti-Pardew at this point tbf. Didn't know they had another podcast - why have 2? I'll not bother with it then. It's not that Bettsy pleb is it? Even though it'd be absolutely garbage it'd be hilarious to have one off here. It's this bell:
  8. Fucking hell man. Routledge bossed the Championship so much it was embarrassing to watch for the opposition.

  12. Pulis who was sacked from Stoke (Stoke!) purely and simply because the football was so bad would be your choice?
  13. MYM is the sort of defender that looks good in a good team and shite in a shite team, bit like David Luiz. He's not the type who can play backs to the wall stuff. Unfortunately that's all Alan Pardew is interested in. A good team playing football that might not make a spectator want to shoot themselves in the face might find their way into Europe and cost him his job. Fuck that shit.
  14. Any Newcastle fan who has sympathy for him I find extremely bizarre. Presumably they've just not paid any attention to four years of him openly mocking the club and the fans in the press, and slurping Mike Ashley's rusty arsehole live on television.
  15. Frank de Boer never has anything but good things to say about Newcastle. I'd sell my granny to have him here. The things he says about Anita here man: http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/frank-de-boer-backs-vurnon-1369506 And we've got fucking Jackie Colbers wandering around doing jack all while Anita can't get on the pitch. What an utter embarrassment.

    Football pet hates

When people wail for 2 up front because it gives you more chance of scoring.
  17. And to think Pardew thought he wasn't good enough for us but he's good enough for the champions league Good point that.
  18. Pundits have never been fans, and don't understand how they feel.
  19. Might ask for the DVD of that Man City performance for Christmas.
  20. http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-a8ufyj9UK58/UuFkj2qst0I/AAAAAAAAP6Q/KBzWBKe4s9Q/s1600/mr-burns-laughing.gif Perfect.
  21. Just watched it again. Spot on. Just hope Charnley said "I wanna go fire the prick now" off camera. More likely "I'm hungry"
  22. Woah there. Take a step back, a deep breath and then just think about what you've said. And who you've said it about. This is the guy that appointed Alan Pardew in the first place, the guy that appointed Joe Kinnear. Twice. Who appointed a casino pleb to manage our club and who renamed our cathedral on the hill after some god awful Donnay stocking brand. None of that put his investment in immediate risk of devaluing massively, this does.
